thanks for the help everyone, but again, I know its not arcade fire: have both their cd's and I know its not Band of horses. If you've seen the actual film, the song i'm looking for is during one of the stages while he's driving next to a lake. The song starts when he starts the beginning of the stage, and the song ends when he finishes the stage.

I think it's possibly something they arranged themselves for the film. In the credits it says where the music score was composed and who played what instruments (Bana on percussion), one of the instruments listed is 'Piano Accordian' which can definitely be heard in that piece of music you refer to at 47m 52s of the film.

first off, great great film, secondly need some serious help. My gf wants a song from this movie and i cant find it anywhere. If you've seen the film, its the song when he's driving by the lake, it sounds like Bono's voice, but i dont think its U2. After the driving scene with the song, he gets emotional talking about that previous run. There is only a few lyrics, and its something like whoa oh oh ohhhh. Again, just an all around great documentary.

I Love this movie. Being an ex northern suburbs boy(I lived in Broadmeadows, not 10 minutes away from Tullamarine where Eric lived) it really meant so much to me and I admit at the end of the documentary, I had a tear or 2 in my eye, as that car means so much to Eric and how it's been a big part of his life. At first looking at the damage, I though it was just the right hand front but there's a lot more damage than I realised. I'd love to see it back in one piece again for Eric's sake.

It's a pity that the other song on the original clip (Arcade Fire's No Cars Go, which was used from the countdown to just after the crash) was replaced in the newer version. The new clip is still fine ("The Funeral" is a great piece of music), but the two combined made the original clip brilliant.
