@kirby4d Lovely to hear that fellow fans are snobs (assuming that you are a fellow fan of H2G2).

If you prefer the film, that's totally fine and if you believe the telly series is not your cup of tea/coffee/beverage then that's also fine. Everyone has different interests including the fans and heck, even Adams didn't have a 'original' Hitchhikers. All the versions spur off into their own 'world', per say.

But we can bitch at you if you so wish =)

@fameandjoy I like the book and the film. I watched the TV Series (about a third of it before giving up--wish Id don the same with MP&the holy Grail lol). It was just flat out boring and horribly made.

I was just pre-empting. And speaking of Adams, he actually wrote part of the script for the new one, so :P

Arthur's the best! He is awesome :D When I first became of a HG2G way back when I was thirteen, I decided to name my future possible son after him. After all these years, I still want to. ALSO! One day, I'd like to have a dog...named Trillian :P I'm the biggest dork ever!!

I've actually got a dog...named Trillian! :D I love the Hitchhiker's Guide. ^^ my dad read it to me when I was uber little and I've read it myself countless times (it's my favorite book series), and he named our late cat Arthur (he died a few months ago, he was around 16..amazing cat, RIP)

I love Ford! Just his voice does...something! Why is he so fantastic! I could watch this a billion times and never get bored! Ford is such an adorable character in this series, they kinda ruined his character in the film1

There's something about Ford... I don't know what it is but it's HOT. I don't know whether it's the amazingly blue eyes, the smile, the outfit, or the complete craziness. I think it's all of them. My new aim in life is to watch this series.

I love this scene. I have no idea why I found Ford so damned sexy. Especially when he kept answering "yes" to all the contractor's questions.
