Thanks for the info! Good to know. I can't get the opacity control (that slide button that makes the old map see-through) button to appear. I tried three different Web browsers and it doesn't show up on any of them. How did you get yours to appear?
@nuggetnoggin historic aerials like historic mapworks does not always have everything for your location. Glad is working for you, maybe we should chip in and find you $10 for Christmas. I did not know you have fallen on tough times.
This is a great tool, historic aerial photos are wonderful as well if available. With historic map works, put $10 in your account and it lets you overlay maps and does not keep asking you to purchase them! However, always remember to respect property owners and if you don't then you do all of us a disservice! yea ive used that site, probably is every site on it has been detected lol.. and it only shows downtown portion of my city, most stuff is built on top of.. i use historicaerials . com ,i get to see my entire county from 1960 and compare to 2011 map.. I also use 191- soil maps of my county, it has all the old roads and houses marked and even who lived in them back then.
