Daghburz-ishi makha gulshu darulu. this part is the one the ring whispers to frodo in the council of Elrond and also I thing the Witchking of Angmar is saying it when stabbing Frodo at wheather top...
I don't understand. There is two versions of The Ring Verse in internet. This is one of them, but there's another version that begins like this: Gakh Nazgi Ilid/Albai/Golug - durub-uuri lata-nuut. This two versions just have in common the ring inscription. Which one is tolkien's verse?
@Carildrith Well Tolkien only ever wrote of the Black Speech what you read in the books. The video I made uses the Neo Black Speech of linguist, David Salo, who worked on the movies. There are myriads of different 'Black Speeches' out there made by many different people but regarding the ring inscription, Tolkien only wrote the second half - Ash nazg durbatuluk, ash nazg gimbatul. Ash nazg thrakatuluk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul.
@MikovicNenad2 Mostly self-taught and using parts of the movie for reference. There is very little 'Black Speech' written by Tolkien but there are fan sites that have expanded the language. I use Neo Black Speech which was written by David Salo for the movies.
The website Land of Shadow also has a good black speech section. Hope it helps.
amazing :] could do with out the echo v.v i dont want to get mean but its really quite annoying :/ your pronunciation is superb and just flat out intimidating but its bogged down with the syllable uttered .5 seconds earlier in the background :/
@zetadiamond063 Thanks for the feedback. There are another 2 versions without the echo if you prefer? They're available on my channel or if you'll find them by searching for 'Black Speech of Mordor'.
The thing that really stands out to me is your pronunciation. Are you a linguist, -because most people would use a similar inflection to their own tongue-like english. It would sound totally different, your emphasis on certain syllables and the way you are able to flow such a difficult language together is awesome. Props!!!
@TheVertigo100 He's using the pronounciations John Ronald Reuel Tolkien wrote down. The part "one ring to rule them all, one ring to find them one ring to rule them all and in the darkness bind them" is very similar is english if what you say is the case. Because how it's prounounced in this video is exactly how I prounced it when I read the book.
@SaintDemoriel The full rhyme is written out in the video description and if you want the tengwar, I have a video uploaded with that also. You can find it under 'Black Speech of Mordor + Tengwar'. ^.^
@Jinchot Uploaded a new version with the entire ring verse in the tengwar. It's the closest I could get to a full and proper inscription. Hope you enjoy it. You'll find the link at the end of this video.
Could i possibly have a reference of where you got the neo-black speech? Shame Tolkein didn't like the language and thus never really expanded on pure black speach :(
@jimie93 Well i first heard about "neo-black speech" on the extended editions of the movies. David Salo invented it and based it on all of the examples of Tolkien's own Black Speech... There are myriads of websites out there, each with their own variations on Black Speech, that you can find using a search engine. Hope that helps.
This was officially one of the most awesome things I have seen and heard! I like the echo effect. It adds that creepy factor and fills your mind with imaginations of what could be going on behind the darkness. It sounds native american to me now that I hear it. Kudos to you!
@DCLeadboot The first half is the language called, 'Neo Black Speech' and was made by Tolkien scholars. I couldn't find the entire ring-verse in Sauron's language... so i made the video myself instead. ^_^

@PyroSpeuz Which? The delay at the beginning or the delays between lines? Or the 'echo' effect?

I like the piercing sound you make when you say a word with "sh" in it. Really amplifies the harshness that Tolkien originally invisioned.
