  • You could wire up the stuff into slightly more specific zones and see what happens

  • what type of wire are you using? if it running close to mains cable?

  • @flamesecure im mainlu using standard bell wire and bits of thick speaker strand wire. I also have lots of fire proof cable in some parts of the house connecting up the devices. Im not sure if its running close to mains cable. Im going to do some tests later and see what happens

  • @lcassell94 if its close to mains cable i recon the fault is being caused by magnetic interference

  • @flamesecure could be. Ive heard of that before. Ive just disabled the zone at the moment.

  • Have you got a lose wire maybe? Or wires running throuhg door frames, if so maybe its when that door is opened/closed?? Just a thought.

  • @forde52 Ive thought of that before. I have to admit ive been pretty bad with wiring and done silly easy things like spurring devices. Its just the case of finding which connection it come from. the funny thing is that the end of line device (kitchen MCP) still works when the fault is caused. Weird- thanks for help any ways :)

  • @lcassell94 Ahh, hve you got any devices spured now? If so that will be the cause, all to do with voltage spikes (drops and highs) when it going down the spur, try that.

  • If the panel has more than one zone, try connecting it to another zone if it still happend, then it must be something to do with a device maby, if it only happens on zone one, then perhaps its a fault with that zone in the panel? Thats all i can think of.

  • @FireControl9000 goood point. Its done it twice now. i'll re-arange the zones and see what happens.
