Having only watched it once, so far, I won't pretend to fully understand it, but this is a visual poem, a portarait of a man caught up in the flow of time, swept away from what he most cherished, but still carrying some reminders with him of what was and what could have been. The world seemed so full of promise back then. Sad that some of it was run into the ditch as the next wave ran off in search of less substantial material wealth instead of artistic treasures.
my generation , loves his music , whats wrong with that, music means a lot to a lot of people and if you can loose yourself in it then that is great , great video and great question, yes im a flower child and proud of it 5*****
great music... poignant imagery of the man dancing ... the lady looks like she is wondering what is going on with him ... he looks like he's having fun in the end ... at first he don't look too happy... then his face looks peaceful & happy... a theraputic dance perhaps ?
I can assure you that this man is having fun altough the other participants may think he's a total nutcase maybe. I think it's very cool that somebody is expressing himself in total freedom, some kinda natural instinct that this man is giving in to.
i can appreciate his energy & what he appears to get out of what he is doing... at first he looks strained & unhappy... then he "moves his way thru it"... and by the end looks very happy & serene... that is a very cool thing... in modern society... we are not allowed to do things like this enough i believe
Your video reminds me of a song by "Arrested Development" called "mr. wendell"... wisdom simple & unheard too often when it genuinely is there
Excellent video, Great observation and editing. Life is just little moments strung together through time and this is a good example of that moment in his life. Thanks for sharing, Good seeing somethng new from you.
I sometimes wonder how this world would be without time, I always try to enjoy what the day brings and it's often the small simple events that makes the day!
I really like your editing here, the way you help us see the details through certain repetitions. You are an observer. I love that you caught this moment and made this dance, made me really see this man. beautiful. :)
Thanks Caren, I needed to do something different while getting almost depressed doing the sri lanka video's, it's my way of balancing my inner thoughts and emotions.
I love to observe without having an opinion, that way I can almost touch the beauty of purity instead of thinking that I was looking at a hippie dancing on booze!

I am glad to be a son of the flowerpower generation, we learned from them what freedom is although we sometimes seem to forget.
more flowers instead of guns, why not!
