I think this whole lottery thing is disrespectful. People are jumping up n down with smiles on their faces. People did we forget that Michael died? we ought to be mourning, this is no prize to be won! one question to these people: Are u going to smile when someone close to u dies? I think his family and his close friends should be the only ones who should have been there. Us fans should have stayed home and watched from our tv. This whole memorial seemed more like a concert. Which is shameful.
I won tickets. I don't believe it was disrespectful. I think it was a fair way to let the fans get involved in mourning the loss of this wonderful man. His fans meant a lot to him - they made him who he was - the legendary icon & I think he would have wanted to have us be apart of it. There were 1.6 million people who registered so if you won ... of course you're excited. This was a huge event - a historical event & to be apart of it ... to see it with your own eyes ... it was amazing.
When the lottery went on line their internet servers were bombarded with over 500 million hits! The system crashed almost instantly! It's ridiculous! Over 1/2 a billion people were hoping to win a ticket to a funeral!
