  • “Every teacher has had this conversation at least once!”

    That’s an understatement.

I think every teacher has parts of this conversation everyday.

  • You know, most of my neighbors have the same attitude about their kids. Their kids are perfect and the school system is out to get them. It is really sad to see kindergarten children sent home with their class work in their backpacks on Friday and Monday come back with their backpacks unopened. Some of the older kids have their parents so fooled they'll tell the parents the teacher is singling them out, and the parents believe them. Next school meeting, look at how many parents show up.

  • with grasping straws or the parent who has oldest child handle all schoool stuff for self and younger sibs?

  • playing games(yes the mother went through half this list and asked why we don't grade at day camp) or I noticed little Dora seems to have trouble during arts and crafts picking things up both mother and father said so. Oh I noticed little susie has cut on her hand oh she's just clutzy replied the father the actual girl said was acdent when she was making lunch for her and her brother it happend twice which is why asksd her about it the 2nd time. My question what is worse the parent who comes in

  • this is funny the idiot parent grasping at straws so they don't have to take responsiblity. Voulnteer at day camp you hear half this crap plus kids are allergic to weird things never nuts or milk. weirdest one I heard was watermelon I don't want to know I just made sure the child didn't have any. ex this is fictional charaters for what happens oh I noticed little sophie interactes poorly with the other kids oh she's just an indidvual is my favorite of exuses or little Timmy isn't intrested in

  • My teacher showed us this in class today. Soooooooooo true xD

  • Wowww.....the mother is like my son is innocent and trying to protect her stupid freaking son!

  • Fuuuuny

  • this is cool

  • well being a kid that actually had some of those problems my High school experience went something like this;i got blamed for everything people did because i wasnt able to stand up for myself, got inschool suspension, got 0's for all thats days work, teacher bugs and picks on me for not doing that work then makes it hard on me, gives me 0's for not being able to catch up my grades, then tells all the teachers i was a lazy student, then all the teachers treat me like trash

    but i graduated bitches

  • he has a 504 plan!

  • Hey...Mother may be getting a 'Crazy check'!!!

  • He's bored. He doesn't do his work because he's a super-genius. And he's bored.

  • I work with teens at a church, and taught at a Catholic school...it's not just public schools this stuff goes on at. This is hilarious!

  • Is there some silly parent mind trick?

  • "I wish this were true." LOL

  • Back in the 50's this little shit woulda got an ass whoopin. Now these stupid ass parents blame the teachers and grow up to be self entitled little shits.

  • @zapbrannigannn

    got that right.

  • What do you say to this parent?

  • @SuperHee2

Refer the parent to the Principle.

You'll soon realize that this parent is known for this behavior at the school. The Teachers will do their best for the kid but can only do so much because learning should also be taking place at home and learning also means being evaluated. Some shallow parents see their kid’s failings as their fault and become defensive. Parents need to get over the critique and accept it as something to improve on and take action on.

  • Why are there hands soo huge !!!!

  • i talk to this parent several times a year.

  • @WikiPsych Seriously! Did you not catch the irony here? The mother is looking for any excuse not to have to deal with her own child. Next time look at the big picture, and count you blessings that you have a mother who cares.

  • @Mr2Jeckyll maybe it's the proof that he has ASD

  • @WikiPsych This is not at all making fun of parents of students with ASD. This is making fun of ignorant parents in general. Parents who make excuses for their kids and think the only reason their child is not succeeding in their academics is the teachers fault.

Directly after the statement of ASD, the mother said she thought "Timmie" is Gifted and Talented and a "Super Genius". She is making excuses. This movie is not at all about the child ACTUALLY having ASD

  • This is hilarious! Who is really concerned about Timmy? This good parent is an example of most adults, always making excuses and the fault is usually somebody else's. Not surprised at all!

  • 28 people obviously needed to stay after class!

  • soccer and football and bascket ball and swim team and tennis team and rides horses competitevly . lol

  • LMAO <33

  • ugh this is what my sister has to go through, i cant

  • For my fellow teachers... A little chuckle for tomorrow :-)

  • "No, Timmy has to go outside." HAHA!

  • lol she tried every way out

  • OK adults, parents. Is this a fiction or non-fiction story?

  • @tubedsurf well it happened to me so i'm going to go out and say nonfiction

  • "I have the clipping in my purse if you want to see it..."

    LOL!

  • I want to punch the mom. Just let the little bitch fail.

  • 27 people are geniuses that have ADHD, ADD, soccer and football practice and were bored by the truth.

  • @datzfast you should rethink your stance teachers make alot less then anyone else with a real education. You are wrong. They move futures forward not "babysit".

  • Do you even have an elementary education? Your comeback makes no sense. Spend one day in an elementary classroom and see how easy you think it is before you start judging the hardest working people out there. I'd love to know what you do for a living? Are you even employed?

  • this parent is DUMB

  • I have to go to one of these :( soo scared

  • Timmy is soooooooo special.

  • why would a working class american care what the baby sitter has to say about their kids? WELL. they shouldn't. lets face it elementary teachers are the worlds babysitters. if they ever do have to teach anything they bitch about it ON THE TELEVISION. keep your school supplies they are not needed for the baby sitting survive you provide.

  • @datzfast what an inane comment

  • Perhaps if you actually had an education yourself, you might be able to put a decent sentence together as well as be able to spell correctly and use proper punctuation and capitalization. What do I know though, I'm just one of those babysitters with two Masters Degrees. Service is spelled s-e-r-v-i-c-e, not survive as you have spelled it here. From someone who has proudly "suvived" education for 12 years. What are you doing with your life?

  • @Smart Teacher 1000 liberal democrat , i can smell you a mile away

  • @SmartTeacher1000 let the troll be trolling

  • are you say that all people who have a 504 plan lie and don't need it. because i'm someone who have had one all my life .

  • whats wrong with that mom. I think she has problems too

  • Wait he has special learning conditions and needs more time and hes a super genious. Hmm and you only THINK he has dylexia :o and all those other conditions god lady thats just sad. and why do they sound the same :o

  • No offence to the maker of this video, but the way that they talk like a robot puts me to sleep, im not sure why though.

  • Ah! The classic "I parent my kid at home so you need to "day-care" him at school". Sad, but a lot of parents actually think that way.

  • Oh dear, so true, so true, so often, so often. It's a wonder that there are teachers left.

  • One day there will be no more schools and everyone will be taught at home.

Anything you wanna learn now you can learn via the internet.

    No point in schools anymore.

  • @jennytheohsoshyone25 Taught at home by whom? More and more, both parents need to work to support their family. Who would stay home to "teach" the kids? And school provides them with social skills that they would otherwise miss out on.

  • @frenchlearner19

If you are homeschooled you can get social skills anywhere school is not the only place to get social skills duh!

  • @jennytheohsoshyone25 Saying "duh" at the end of your comment does not make you correct or add any value to what you're saying. You already sound unqualified to be making comments about how children should acquire social skills, since you do not even have the basic skill of politeness.

  • @frenchlearner19

all i was saying was that schools are not the only place to get the skills you need, and schools are over rated now, everything you learn in schools can now be learned on the internet . There are good teachers out there, but before i started homeschooling at 5th grade i was in a normal public school and all the teachers i had, but 1 where really bad teachers.

  • @jennytheohsoshyone25 I teach elementary school and there is no way my students would be able to pick up what I teach them on their own. Even the brightest ones have trouble with initiation. The only way they could do it on their own is if there was someone by their side at all times guiding them, i.e. a teacher... Hence, no matter whether you are home schooled or not, as a child, you still need an adult by your side guiding you.

  • @jennytheohsoshyone25 Plus, school is not just about content, but about skills. I cannot see how passively surfing the internet could give children the skills they need to be successful adults. And I don't know what school you belonged to, but in my school almost every teacher is hard-working and dedicated. It is by no means rare for them to be at school hours before and after classes preparing.

  • @frenchlearner19

Only had 1 good public teacher, she was amazing and i loved her so much.

All the other teachers you could just tell did not like us kids and did not wanna be there.

  • I think that it is more important to push your child in a direction then let the schools train him to be a button pushing monkey. All these types of schools do is train individuals to enter the minimum wage work force, not to think and learn.

  • Unfortuantely, nowadays, teachers have to "raise" children more than teach subject material. Parents against Teachers.... Can you believe this... WHat sort of professionals will we have tomororw..... What tremendous generation.

  • Yes, I have staeted to make cartoon film. it's like this.

  • sorry at 00:30 not 00:32

  • I was laughing as soon as she said "you hate him" at 00:32

  • This unfortunately is reality, as I have encountered similar situations as an Algebra teacher.

  • Good stuff. Very funny.

  • dude, whenever you read this stoned, it makes you feel like everyone else was stoned when they typed the comment. lol

  • I would so do timmys mom

  • The reaction to the camera at 04:25 says it all.

  • Awesome! the mother is great! she needs to go back to school too!!! I love her hand gestures!

  • Ha ha ha ha haaaa!!! I once got a PRESCRIPTION for recess. No joke, I still have it stapled above my desk.

  • This guy must be from our district who make these clips because I've experienced parents like this a few times. You even have parents with children that have a severe disability and they swear their kid can go to Harvard.

  • Never understood parents that act like they are their kids friend. And I'm 16.

  • I've had this parent(s) too! Hilarious - and sad.

  • OMG!!! I've had this parent! Glad to know this happens to others...I wish I could record conferences so they could hear this played back! LOL

  • Lots of parents are their kids "friends". My dad was not my friend. He was my dad and he would whip my ass if I brought home bad grades. I am grateful I had a dad and not a "friend" who stood up for me at school making me weak.

  • You should write more of these - you definitely have a talent for it

  • funny true and boring

  • how sas this because this true. i should know....... -__- because I a student at pensacola high school. i going to my senior year next year which not long because august is coming up. damn! ):

  • Our failing parents in a nutshell.

  • Comment removed

  • This is so depressing, because it is so spot on.

  • This is exactly how all parent-teacher conferences are.

  • did you make this video for a example of a bitch?

  • my mother knows a lady who has a friend that goes to the same hair stylist as the superintendants third cousin WIN!

  • haha this is exactly what parents are like, oh my gosh.

  • This is alsome

  • WOW!!!!!! This video couldn't be more true!! LOL!!!

  • I hate people...these people exist in bulk.

  • @feroxlara21 Hating people is pointless and self-destructive. You should forgive them because they are ignorant of what they are doing, and then do what you can to not be like them.

  • @HamsterPants522 ... I can hate who i want...not trying to be mean or anything to you though. I just think that i can hold anger towards whom ever i feel like, as long as when it counts like; job interviews, general greetings, and during everyday dealing i treat them fairly i can hate them for their stupid actions and attitudes. :)

  • @feroxlara21 I never questioned your right to think and feel freely, I was merely stating the best choice. How you take it is entirely up to you.

  • @HamsterPants522 ...Yes but in this scenario, the "BEST" choice is subjective...

  • @feroxlara21 When talking about ethics and happiness, the best choice is always subjective.

  • @HamsterPants522 Then If you agree with me then, then why would you tell me that doing one thing in whoever case would be pointless and self destructive if IN FACT it is Subjective to me and you have no control over my feeling and or thoughts. Ill tell you why, because you DID NOT fully understand it till now.

  • @HamsterPants522 I KNOW THAT!....thats why it was dumb in the first place to tell me your reasoning behind MY actions.

  • @feroxlara21 I never criticized your actions, I only spoke badly of hatred because it is counterproductive, and then recommended a different approach. I hardly see how that could ever, under any circumstances, be a stupid thing to do.

  • @HamsterPants522 Alright i got a little outta hand. I can see you only were on the side of acceptance and thats fine...But i hate on the inside yet treat people with a un-bias opinion. Hard to believe i know but i do it. Anyways good having words with you, best to you.

  • @feroxlara21 Likewise, best to you too.

  • All my fellow teachers! we have had this before

  • @eyeswideopen1993 Are you stupid? There are countless parents who spoil their children and leave the responsibility of raising their children to other people. These "other people" are very often teachers. Why would you disagree with this? Why would you say that they are your employee? One person does not pay the entire salary of a teacher with their taxes. Taxes go to far more than education, OBVIOUSLY. Have you not seen how much of your tax money goes to military funding?

  • @Donnieisyourfriend What a bro!

  • @Donnieisyourfriend

I agree and disagree... as a tax payer paying I would expect that my child gets the same quality of instruction as everyone else in the class. But in this video the Mom is an unfit mother in my opinion who's raising a child of destruction of the future. But yes a lot of taxes goes to Military funding, it costs nearly 100,000 dollars for one Javallin Rocket which is used for the single use to destroy one tank.

  • @Donnieisyourfriend There are people overseas fighting for freedom, fighting for us to be here, fighting to keep peace. People die everyday to keep us alive. All of the viloence with terrorists could someday come on America and attack our homefront.

  • @eyeswideopen1993 Parents do not try to control or diciplin their children. I have dealt with many flakey parents like this who make excuses for thier kids severe misbehavior. They lie, hide behind "Unfiled" IEP/504 plans, and let the kids get away with anything. They spoil their kids and let them play video games for hours on end instead of holding them to homework and school. It takes two to learn, the teacher and the student. If the student does not show up to class, how can we teach?

  • @eyeswideopen1993 Wow.....youve had a bad experience....maybe not raising your kid correctly.....you probably work retail and think teachers make alot. trash

  • @eyeswideopen1993 Wow.....bitter

  • @eyeswideopen1993 There are 365 days in a year, and 24 hours in a day. That means there are 8760 hours in a year. In my state, students spend 7 hours a day in school for 176 days in a year, which results in 1232 hours spent with teachers. If there are 8760 hours in a year, and students spend only 1232 of them with teachers, that means 7528 hours, or roughly 86% of their lives, are spent with parents. I believe this proves parents have considerably more time to influence behavior.

  • @eyeswideopen1993

Wow!Parents have no control over their kids now due to their teachers?I believe you mean that some worthless parents have no control over their kids because they are crappy parents that have failed from day one. Being a parent means holding kids accountable for their actions! If you do a good job of being a parent, which would mean spending time together, being a good role model, and even showing that being educated is pretty important, then you won't need to CONTROL your kid.

  • my mother knows a lady hu has a fren dat goes 2 d same hairstylist as d super's 3rd cuz...................lol

  • 19 people are the parent in this video. I have seen this SOOOOOOOO many times. Some parents need to wake up and realize that their "perfect little angel" is a lazy, disrespectful pain in the ass.

  • This is so true! When did teachers become more responsible for our kids' educations that us parents? They tolerate so many stupid parents like this. Take a GOOD LOOK at your children and HELP THEM!!! Take some of those after school activities away and make your kids get an education because most will not qualify for sports scholarships, or play professionally, they need an education first!!! And I can say this because I am a parent who has seen too many people react this way about their kids.

  • public school teachers are SAINTS!

  • LMFAO kids are bitches!! The parents are so fkin stupid rofl

  • Wow ....

  • Dealing with the parents really makes being a teacher not enjoyable.

  • Hahah, wth is up with these videos??!!

  • I feel so bad with the crap teachers have to put up with all because of stragglers

  • In most classes there are "only" two or three "Timmys." The problem really is that these "Timmys" take up large amounts of the teacher's time, therefore limiting what the teacher can do with the rest of the class. All you other parents need to band together and stand up against parents like "Timmy's" for the sake of your own children.

  • @Guitarhack5 So so so true.

  • @Guitarhack5 I am a middle school teacher and I have 13 "Timmys" in my 1st period class alone. I have a total of 20 in all of my classes.

  • I have a friend that is teacher. Even though it is true that some parents are like that but it is also true that some parents give gifts to teachers. The family of one of her student owns a liquor store, so my friend gets liquor for free (they even mail them to her even though she does not request them), gets discount on airplane fares since one of the parents work for a major airline.

  • @winter32842 Are you serious... "The family of one of her student owns a liquor store, so my friend gets liquor for free." So this makes disrespectable behavior justified to a teacher...get a life...no wait. get an education.

    no wait...get out of here.

  • @winter32842

Your parent must have THOUGHT you were a super-genius too! Need I say more?

  • Thats like my mom lol

  • The only thing I would change is the student's name should be Kyle.

  • Comment removed

  • wow. @blondeatheart - apparently no one ever taught you about hasty generalizations. No, not all parents are like this - but the pendulum has definitely swung in the direction of believing teens over adults. Maybe it's all the prescription drugs society is medicating itself with that is causing reason and logic to go out the window. Take a look at the successful education systems in other countries and compare them to ours. Wake up and stop being so elitist.

  • Oh god! teacher arguing with a parent?

  • I love how some of the parent's claims about Timmy contradict one another.

  • The problem is teachers make it seem like ALL parents are like this. Yes, there are some bad parents, but there are also some BAD TEACHERS!! If you don't like your job, find a different one!

  • @blondeatheart2344, Unfortunately, parents make it seem like all TEACHERS are like this. ;) Yes, there are some bad teachers, but there are some BAD PARENTS. Parents who don't give a damn. Parents who view education as babysitting. Parents who are hamstringing the success of their own children by refusing to engage, by insisting that teachers and schools should solve everything.

You don't know the half of what goes into trying to "fix" an epidemic that originates in the home.

  • Sad, but true, this can happen. The teacher did the right thing by staying calm and offering numerous options.

  • Sad, but true, this can happen. The teacher did the right thing by staying calm and offering numerous options.

  • Hilarious....I love mom's eye rolling. No worries teach...if you're good, you'll be excessed!

  • I have heard all of these. I even had a parent tell me to send her my lesson plans 2 weeks in advance of teaching the lesson for her approval. Nothing surprises me anymore.

  • Teachers need to be appreciated more. Sure some of them dont deserve to be called a teacher but most of them are the people that teach us what we need to know for the careers we want, for the rest of our lives. They should be paid more than what they get because they are the people who taught cardiologist, policemen, astronomers, presidents, doctors, etc. Everyone had to get an education from somewhere which means they all had a teacher at one point.

  • "RACIST SUPERHERO" is the funniest xtranormal video on YouTube!!

  • Wow, this is so true. I thought it was only parents in my class that are this way. But it looks like our entire nation is suffering from the affliction of parents out of touch with reality.

  • Oh WOW - SO True. So sad, and so TRUE!

  • @AussieMan0078

Uhm no. Just because you had a batch of shitty teachers does not mean all teachers in America are like that.

  • @AussieMan0078 uhhhh teachers can't get away with rape moron. they get harassed by parents' groups for so much as touching a child. if they have any left-wing views, they can get stalked for "pushing the gay agenda on children". it's weighed heavily in favour of parents, and the majority of them are retarded.

  • @AussieMan0078 - You mean the teacher was ACCUSED of rape, of course. If he'd raped her and was convicted, he'd be in prison. Duh. So the time he spent in the rubber room was the time his case was being investigated and tried.

Can you imagine that? Finding out if someone is actually guilty before you fire him??? Those goddam unions and their "innocent until proven guilty" crap! How un-America of them!!!

  • @AussieMan0078 Sounds like you were a nightmare student and your parents were part of the problem.

  • yep thats me

  • "You hate him. You're out to get my son."

    XD

  • Comment removed

  • ur out to get my son

  • @sarajc1579 the funniest part about anyone saying you're out to get my kid is that they think any teacher actually cares enough about any of this shit to go "after" anyone, much less your sorry kid

  • @100rrh hahahaha agreed

  • As a teacher, I found this video to be both amusing and eerie at the same time!

Most parents I meet are supportive, but once in a while, a parent like this turns up, and it can get as ugly as the conference in this video. The constant avoidance of responsibility shown by the parent is quite comical, but there really are some parents who are like that.

To whoever posted this video: You made my day!
