Can the seat be moved back a few inches? This would give you a better counter-balance to the cart and lift the shafts out of the tugs more. Once again, Kodiak can't do his best with you bouncing back and forth like that. Besides, I feel sorry for your back.

very sad this last year a horse got hurt and had to be put down :(
