  • Wait, what? No! I just started my degree in molecular biology in California. I wish I had the time and resources to start a DIY lab out here. Oh well, I guess I'm just glad to see that this exists at all. I hope more of them start popping up like you predicted!

  • I have one like this in my basement where I make meth

  • Great idea! Unfortunately I live in a very remote area, so the chances of a DIY lab in close proximity are pretty slim :(

  • Yes I wanna be just like you are. It is a very nice profession. It is nice that they opened this lab for enthusiasts.

  • Good idea , congratulations !!!

  • Keep giving the opportunity to new ideas and enthusiast. I support your mission.

  • I hope more of these pop up.

  • It does not matter who came first. The importance is that they exist :-)

We have also just opened a DIYBio place in Copenhagen called BiologiGaragen. We have a youtube channel where you can follow our projects.

  • Biocurious came before GenSpace.

  • I have a couple of those ideas that aren't really important but could be fun, or just ideas to try to see if the science behind it was possible and how fare it can be taken.
