  • Pokemonelite2000 isn't good

  • @wolfy1376 or just save it as bitmap

  • Why do I get sprites with black background? I save them in the png format but they still don't come out right. How do I fix this?

  • @wolfy1476 i'm not sure, try getting them from a different source? or maybe try deleting the background in a graphics software with tool to select and entire block of colour.

  • @wolfy1476 Try copying and then pasting them into Microsoft Word. Then copy from Microsoft Word and paste into MS Paint.

  • it's also really easy to search on google for every pokemon sprite in one file, copy and paste it in paint and save as a png, then you have every pokemon you're looking for really easy, anyway, nice vid.

  • That is the most easiest sprite ever I could do that in less than 2 mins

  • @hentore crap that, make it 30 secs

  • when i use that select tool, and move the image the background comes with it. How do i fix that?

  • how do i make the background color clear???

  • Thanks so much i made a really good sprite!

  • you dont realy need to save the pic you just click on copy

  • Nice job. Hey everyone request me some pokemon sprites! Message me if u want a request

  • is there any difference between splicing ing spriting???

  • @flarestorm13 I think [correct me if im wrong people] that splicing is where you take pieces of different sprites and put them together, like in my video. And spriting is where you create new sprites of your own,

  • @tomo0594 thanks :)

  • @tomo0594 actually spriting is the same as splicing. scratch spriting is when you make your own sprites.

  • @tomo0594 yep

  • Very simplistic, and the texture of the arms don't match the body.

  • @Jappio sooooooooo....? It was supposed to be a basic example to give people an idea for a method to splice sprites.

  • @tomo0594 Just some friendly critique. Pointing out some flaws, things that I think should be fixed to make it look better and to help you. Also best to not cut corners when trying to teach, as people trying to learn from this could be led the wrong way.

  • Thank you!!

  • no problem

  • yeh, if ur lazzzyyyyyyyyy

  • Y'know instead of saving the sprites that you use at first, you can just copy and paste them.

  • You can do that if you want to but if you read the title it says How "I" splice pokemon sprites and it is so people who don't know how to splice pokemon sprites and want to find out how other people do it, you can make a video explaining how you make pokemon sprites if you want to

  • how do i make the background clear T_T

  • when the image is still selected you click the button at the bottom of the toolbar on the left (3 shapes with a transparent square)

  • i made a crawcaturn it was a crawcanaw and a lanturn and i kno ispelled crawcanaw rong

  • Hey, it's alot easier just to use the eraser technique thing.

  • i think we've established that

  • Sorry, i didn't see it on the first comment page, and i don't like going over all the comments, so i just pointed it out.

  • u dont save it. copy and paste it 2 paint

  • you could do that or if you plan on doing lots of splices then you can save it which in the long run is quicker and easier

  • how do u get paint

  • It comes with ALL computers. Look it up in the search bar in Start menu.

  • but only windows, not mac and i have windows

  • do you need Paint

  • Paint is the best software to use that I know because you can change each pixel individually and some of the tools are useful, i guess you might be able to use other softwares but paint is probably easiest to use

  • i dont use pokemon elite 2000 i use aquablade11s way go onto his how to make a pokemon sprite version 2.o narrated version and the link in the description go to it ad copy and paste and there are all the pokemon.

  • why do u need to save it and y png file

u can just copy and paste it and save it at any type

  • if u save it you can use it again without having to go back on the website and looking, and png in better quality than gif or jpeg

  • yea make a new video using that or something

  • maybe one day but i can't be bothered at the moment

  • use the erasor trick not bucket!

  • if u talking about the colour changing then i do use that now, I made this before i knew how to use the eraser to change the colour

  • how's u get 'em transparent, I get the backrounfd with it.

  • you have to get the paint bucket tool and either right click with white as your secondary colour or make white your primary colour and left click on the background

  • oh o.k. thnx man!

  • thanks dude this helped me alot! :D

  • cool, good to know that it has been useful

  • I'm from The Mike and Brandon's not so short stories company, and this is not bad news, we would like to use your pokemon sprites in a book we are writing called Octamon and the legend of Krackeer, we understand if you object. Have a good day. :)
