  • i love this card, runs all my games at maxed settings with 1920x1080 res, and crysis with those settings at 30 fps steady

  • I just got my Geforce 9500GT and i was wondering is 50 degreed celsieus realy hot like is that to hot for it or what temperature should i be scared of on this card? Cause it is summer and i only have AC in my living room but my computers are in my room with just a window fan lol so it getts quite hot... so Please tell my what temperature should i be scared of my card running at

  • @KentW776 50c is warm but not not alarming my hd4770 runs 40c on idle

    and 57c under load....

  • IS this the same as the MSI N260GTX TwinFrozr OC GeForce GTX 260 ?

  • is awsome....how many do u pay that grafic card?

  • GTX 260 = ATI HD5770 (Maybe 5770 is little better)

  • i bought already and i have new pc yay!!

  • nice

  • The msi lightning cards are insane!

  • by the way, i´m sure this card had a serious VS with the 295 Gtx..... Why ? this one have 2Gb for one core, and the GTX 295 is 890 Mb per core, so the gtx 295 has there a big problem, the info cant be splitted, maybe a gtx275 or gtx285 colud give him serious battle to this overclocked 260, i have one and runs everithing in max

  • I have the MSI GTX275, its better than this one and looks exactly the same, but its red, lol, I love how those black and dark colors look on the 260.

  • I have this card, its kickass. Im playing Crysis on 1680x1050 with all filters to Ultra High with 25-30 fps!

  • Comment removed

  • yes!

but nOW RADEON 4870 1GIG >GTX260 in all games, but only in crysis GTX260 little better

  • @halfpol

    +1

  • msi is getting kickass !!

  • i want one

  • Will this play crises on MAX with the average frame rate above 60FPS?

  • Depends on the resolution. I would not expect it to be able to play Crysis in DX10 with 8X AA at 1680 X 1050.

  • Comment removed

  • xD no of course ! o maybe on 800x600 resolution

  • Do you know a card that will?

  • GTX380GX2 ,

  • 800x600 32bit maybe

  • these people are on crack shit....on his test A 4870 beat the gtx 260 in most test and you wanna say that the gtx 260 will beat the 4890?...... 4890 will murder any gtx 260 lol and if you say u can overclock the gtx 260 to beat it well then, the 4890 can also be overclocked.

  • @qbthething no ur wrong ati cards shine in games that are made around them and nividia cards shine in games built around them there is no better card from nivida or ati they all shine in there own ways ... it just depends on what u play and thats all that matters

  • ur videos are out of sync =/

  • Are you people kidding me? You can't even compare GTX260 216 to 4890, 4890 is clearly better. GTX 275 = 4890, GTX 260 216 = 4870

  • @Fuskija,thats why I didnt compare it to a 4890, I compared it to a 4870.

  • can i use the card without the airforce panel???

  • @syafiqmilan , yes you can use it without the panel.

  • a 4890 is alot more bang for the buck atm

they should drop the prize on the gtx260

  • i agree.. but you can get a GTX 260 on newegg for $144 it's recirtified

  • well yeah the gtx 260 is actully pretty good prized in the US.

here in sweden tho it costs as much as a 4890 :S

  • 260 216-Core is faster. I get 12560k in vantage without PhysX. With PhysX i get 14789, so...

  • a 4890 is faster than a 260 core216 :P

  • Nope. I didn't saw any 4890 that will be faster than GTX260 on the same rig. Even if they are overclocked to 1GHz. I've just ordered GTX260 Lighning and I want to overclock it to 850MHz with my WC setup. Overclocked GTX260 is even faster than GTX280, so 4890 is not competitor

  • You are mistaking man :(

but i guess your going after vantage score ONLY .. becuse yes the 260 beats the 4890 in vantage scores by a couple of hundred ...

but the 4890 destroys the 260 in all games .. except farcry 2 ... it also beats the 260 in 3dmark06

so if you actully wanna play games than the 4890 is better..

    i would reccomend a gtx 275 tho .. same preformance as a 4890 + you get physx

  • Nope. You're wrong. I suggest You're an fanboy? :P i don't want to insult You, but I had 4870, 4890 and then 260 core 216 ocd to 780mhz, and it beats 4890

  • hmm you or every benchmarking website i have seen so far... i wonder who is right?

  • Comment removed

  • Hey picwiz

Do you buy this equipment or company give it for free and can you keep it?

  • Would you personally recommend this for gaming? or is it just another card? please respond if you find the time.

  • holly shit....how much memory? I think i heard that wrong....seriously I can't understand how much memory.

  • @Firdaush0, lol, thats 1792 Megabytes of GDDR3. So 1.8GB of RAM basically.

  • Holly cow.! I remember the day where we thought 800 MB was a lot. but now we are reaching almost 2GS! My goodness.

  • The idea is cool but here is no reason to invest extra money into such a graphics card. When I look up this card you can get a proper branded GTX 285 for the same money.

  • how much is this piece of god?

  • bill gates weeps, thats all i know.

  • Do you have to test for stabiity on the card when you use that overclocker panel or it is by default already stable.

  • @ikcti , I test for stability in 3dvantage, usually it freezes Windows if the settings are too high. once lowerd it stable and solid like a rock!

  • Do you make computers. For people. ? I was wondering If you made people computers because I am not sure how to make a PC. But i know what I want to be able to do with it. So LET ME KNOW :D

  • Looks like a great card!

  • can any1 tell me wat motherboard all that hardware needs? :S

  • how much is this monster?

  • Only $300.

  • Holy shit. I've got a GTX 280, and this 260 is making me jealous.

  • That's cool! but I think radeon is far more better.

  • :P ofc u may think its better... but it isnt :P

Ati admitted that Nvidia was everytime a step ahead :P.

  • woah! i sound stupid, but i think nvidia's got ahead of ati on this one!

  • price is half for the ATI competition

  • What do you use for the stalker clear sky benchmarks?

  • @nightmare355 , I used the Stalker Clear Sky Benchmark tool which is free.

  • wat cpu r u using?

  • @mercenary95, Athlon II X2 250 at 3.4Ghz

  • wbt ur motherboard?

  • Will u make review of geforce GTX 295 ?

  • What a Bundle. Good job

  • That is one nice looking box.

  • that is cool

  • good job man thanks for the information

  • Amazing card dude! I love the control panel!

  • Why do you not mention the price range of the item? Price should be part of a review. Cant just say this card is wicked only for 2000$.

  • they dont because the prices change over weeks and months say you say this card is between 200 and 300 dollars US then next week its 300-400 or 150-300 thats why

  • pckid, , have you tried running 8800gt and 9800gt in sli together, , ppl say it works. they have same architectures

  • yay youtube fixed their servers... HD again :D

  • Awesome card....I like the heatpipes..

amm...what's so interesting that the ATI card got better score on GRID?

GRID has an EGO engine so not a suprise at all

  • VGA and native HDMI... you don't see that everyday.

Ah, I think I'll still wait until the next generation comes out so I can grab a GTX 285 for cheap.

  • That is one sexy box. I don't really hear good reviews on MSI though. What's you take?

  • They are good

  • I used an overclocked MSI 8800 GTS (G80) 320 MB from two generations ago, and I must say it's a great card.

Ran overclocked for a year and a half with no problems whatsoever. Great quality card, in my opinion. MSI tries hard to be on the same level as XFX/EVGA, so they throw in a bunch of extra goodies/packaging, yet the price is usually cheaper than the big manufacturers.

MSI is a great nVidia card maker, IMO. The only company that beats it I think is XFX, because of their warranty.

  • YAY!!! You did a NVIDIA product!! Gratz dude and much appreciated! Thx for listening to what I said in my vid response from your summer give away! If you continue to try to do some more, I know some more people that will sub you since your very good and through at your vid reviews.

  • dude... its the companies that give him the cards to review. for some reason nvidia doesnt like to give out cards for reviews...

  • can ddr2 2006 computer work with this graphic card

  • depends what pci slots you have, you need 1 PCI Express 2.0x16 slot

  • Holy shit, that beats the shit out of the standard GTX 260... im running the gtx 260 but i only have 896mb of mem and the clock is nowhere near that.

How Much did you pay for it?

  • nvm i saw the link lol.

  • most places i looked on the internet it was around $150 thru $220 dollars.

  • how will a OCZ modXstream 600w PSU power this badboy. i realy want to get it. It has 2 12v rails with 25 on each. : /

  • @Peetah16, yes one of the 12v rails would basically be used for powering this card. Your ok.

  • wanna get it!

  • awesome card

  • nice card, cool review i like that control panel, so you can adjust settings on the fly ? no bios tweaking or nvidia control panel settings needed ?

i have a raid0 config. any change in volt/wattage screws up my bios settings for next time i boot. well it happens when i adjust my after market slot fan speed control on the fly, just wondering if that control panel would do the same.

  • nice

  • @srslyusuck , yes its on the fly , so you select what you want and then you can verify the values by pressing the "Lighting" button and it popups up on the screen the settings for you .

  • Nice card.

  • lol this thing costs more than my pc on its own

  • MSI made finally something good.

  • finally you review something that is not AMD/ATI :)

  • Great Card from a german Design Team :D

    Nvidia FTW

  • finaly nivida card review

  • wow this card looks really good, one question though. if you are running 2 cards in crosfire do they have to be the same card, or can i say use my ati 4870 and this card? i would assume useing 2 of the same is best though

  • This is an Nvidia card... you can't use this in crossfire lol

  • what? i dont think u can run a ati card with an nvidia card, thats because ati dosent support SLI and nvidia dosent support crossfire

  • you can run Radeon SLI xD

  • no you can't

  • @ertai222, you cannot mix the two, it needs to be two or three GTX260's in SLI only.

  • Should of used newer nvidia drivers then 182.06. What drivers were the ATI cards using?

  • ATI was using a level back also, 9.5 catalyst

  • Cool looking box lol

  • That thing is a monster!

  • an 5 1/4 inch board? wtf is that?

  • im 100% sure he meant 5 1/4 inch drive bay and im 98% sure that u got the point

  • 5.25 bay

  • @NikeySunfire, relax man, it fits in a 5 1/4 inch drive bay on your case.

  • @PCWizKid , it's ok , just try to make many takes of the scene, so you can correct mistakes like this ;)

  • why did this video sound low quality? and why was there no background music? i missed it!!!

  • its okay...the music always distracts me...

  • good stuff dude. your reviews are awesome

  • msi is the band tht made one of my favorite songs "Shut Me Up!"

  • cool and i bet this consumes lots of power tht board pimps out the rig and tht case looks like something out of james bond!!! keep up the good reviews!!!

  • 2:01

    no cyanide pills ? :(

  • Your reviews are great, thanks.

  • xfx and evga FTW

  • Id like to have this but i bet its expensive.

MSI is one of my favorite companies.

  • what about crysis??? :)

  • meh, it's very nice, but I wouldn't really trust the overclocking board and it's a power hog

Your reviews are very awesome btw.

  • MSI SUCKS!

ALWAYS STICK WITH EVGA OR XFX!

Besides that, great video and keep up the good reviews.

  • i love msi =]

  • i like msi

  • do you get paid for doing this ?

  • yes hes a partner!!

  • thnaks man

  • Nvidia :O

  • made it to the 1st ten comments!

  • i made it #1 :P andim proud lol

  • do companies pay you to review their hardware? Cause this stuff be expensive! And you do a good job!

  • First to give your mom a thumbs up (ull get that wwhen your older

  • he's reviewing another nvidia cards everybody run

  • What? LOL

  • finally the full review lol
