  • What ended up being the problem to this?

  • @klivak51 I guess it was the idler pulley

  • Osotheo your dumb, the 4g63t makes even more noises then the 420a, especially that awful lifter tick. I would know,I own both.

  • iknow the problem its not a 4g63... lol

  • get a new pulley tensuiner set same thing happened to my dodge avenger 420a engine its right under the pulley of the power stearing......

  • @86Choco : Bought and fixed a year ago.

  • its the timing belt cover duhh it happen to me to just readjust it should work fine

  • got to love the power of a mitsubishi and hate the maintance

  • yeah its in your pulleys

  • alright, it`s the A/C-comressor or the A/C clutch...

  • i pushed a bit on the tensioner pulley and the noise was gone. but i saw that a screw was broken. the pulley didn't run smooth. now i have to change the screw, but i can't find one with left-hand thread. even my mitsubishi dealer doesn't have one. in germany these screws are rare and the german model doesn't have it.

    "screw you, germany" :D

  • kinda sounds like a squeak... you should check the tensioner pulley

  • Check the timing belt cover sounds like its rubing up against it =)

  • @kenny111150 wow, that was fast. i take a look.
