yeah samael is more of a mysterious character who keeps his intentions to himself. The developers have said that he will become a central atagonist in future games :)

@Troo44 Who knows, the makers of the game didn't want to be to controversial so instead of "Satan" there is the "Destroyer" and instead of "God" we have "The Creator". Will we see them in the games? We just have to wait.

@Guciom But Samael say he challenges the Destroyer, and doesnt like his master's choice. So the Destroyer and Satan cant be the same characters. Because he makes them out to be two different people

i beat this game on all difficultys quite a few months ago and i have to say next to war this guy is EPIC! he scared the living shit out of me when i first saw him i was like O_O....but as i went through the game he just got cooler and cooler epic game and epic character

After that he asked God for a chance for redemption and from that moment on he is th guide of the dead or The Grim Reaper who guides the just to heaven and the wicked to hell.

Samael looks like the devil =O (or how the devil has been portraid in books). Also in the comic book that u get from pre-ordering the game it tells you that samaels wings are shaped like that to mock angel's wings. just a fun fact, and awsome game =P

When Samael roars in War's face and breathes fire , I expect War to get a big cigar and lighten it in that fiery breath , saying "are you done dog?!!"" It makes me smile everytime I think about this cut-scene :))
