good analysis - except...can you kindly tell me WHY you think this is a bear market rally?

The SPX is above the 300 SMA and I have always seen SPX being and staying over the 300 SMA signaling a new bull market

I'm basing it on a longer term view. If you look at a monthly chart of SPX, you can see how it's currently in a downtrend. And right now, it's rallying up to retest the 20 month moving average.

Could this be a new bull market instead...absolutely. I'm not denying that either. Either way, I'm not stuck on the idea that it has to be a bear market rally. Whether it's up or down, as long as I'm riding with the market, that's all that really matters. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!!!
