When you have someone in your country like Superman, having a war last more than a week is unthinkable without ending in your favor is unthinkable. In the Watchmen, the US wins the Vietnam war and annexes Vietnam because they have the superpowered being that no one else has. Superman could easily have taken on both the Japanese and German armies singlehandedly and saved many Allied lives.
Critics should should remember their history. Superman was only four years old.. Max Fleischer was Disney's biggest competitor. In the comics, Superman never fought the enemy. The US Government asked Fleischer to stop production of these cartoons. There was nothing like these cartoons at the time. So if you compare them be fair about it and remember that they were some of the best things to come out of the cartoon industry at that time.They were ground breaking for their time.

I think the problem with these shorts is that they're poorly edited, and not long enough. If you ask me, these would have been a whole lot better as serials that make a 20-30 minute episode, but what they went for doesn't work too well. Naturally, there's a very dated theme, with racist stereotype designs for the natives, along with the Nazis, but this was a thing going on at the time. The acting and animation is absolutely fantastic for the time, but sadly, it could have been much better.
@VGRetro If you ask me, I feel sorry for the natives. I mean, they're not bad people, they're just being ordered around by a false prophit. Plus, I just love to see Superman beating the crap out of nazis!! I also love the Hitler cameo at the end!
Batman doesn't beat up on terrorists, except Ra's al Ghul, and he's not from any specific country, he just is crazy enough about the enviroment to kill people. Lots of people.
well he beat poland france belgium netherland luxemburg denmark norway yugoslavia and greece only lost to canada uk usa and russia not too bad of a record and i doubt any of these country besides ussr and usa could beat them on themselves
Bah, Superman could have won the war single-handed! How was this discrepancy ever explained in the comic universe? I remember reading in the original comics run that he actually stopped the war from happening by capturing the Axis leaders (obviously in real life the war continued).
Please tell me , does this matter ? To a real sane person does this matter ? Spider - Man was created by a Jewish person and even Batman was created by a Jewish person . But does this matter ? From my point of view , it does NOT matter .
