  • He had been invited previously to MSU but this time it turns out he was "in the neighborhood" (filming a flick in Detroit(?) and it was homecoming & midnight madness for MSU bball. MSU uses the "Spartans! What is your profession..." audio line on 3rd down "stands" by the team. If you look further you will see tubes of him at the bball event.

  • He was there because MSU's mascot is the Spartan and he played an ass-kicking Spartan in the movie 300. As far as how they got him to come I'm not sure.

  • How random. I wonder if Gerard Butler would make an appearance at my kids show and tell day. Only kidding, I don't have a kid. But I will bring him to my work on 'Bring A Hot Scot into work' day
