Another note, I run in two's my wife and I. She plays an assassin, which can successfully lock up the clerics.

So goes kinda like CC others, down healers, then other high dps softies.

The FULL pvp experience is once you cap out level and gear the playing field is completely different then mid level. Look at gladiators, without the best gear they are just bad, no skill can overcome it I think.

Later on they are juggernauts, play what you like and you will find ways to smack everyone down.

my cousin is going insane bcuz every class kills him, he's lvl 19 gladie and a lvl 13 sorc killed him but thats what i told him in end game scenario his class will pretty much overcome the others, the same hapens on lineage 2, on early lvls the chars with better cc win, on end game when u get resistances against most cc's and in some cases imunity the highest dpser wins, gladdies and the ones with most dps but still they can tank and do great dmg one of the most dmging amongst the melee class

so if i understand this right, its impossible for a sorc to kill a cleric/chanter cuz they just heal themself and do a small amout of dmg every now and then and after a while the sorc dies... ? sorc most be some sort of stun o silence that this vid doesnt show ?

its not impossible but rather hard to kill em, but its possible u just gota use ur cc when their about to heal tho some heals are instant cast but the big ones take a cast which u are able to block with sleeps and other cc skills

Also take note note clerics are a power house in 1v1 combat right now. They have CC, big heals, and CAN do damage.

In group combat expect to see clerics first to go down in many situations.

1v1 they are a pain for everyone. Especially since damage is toned down in pvp while healing remains 100% effective. They are toying with the numbers now, if you read posts over time you will see many issues like this have come and passed with fixes.

It will never be perfect 1v1 unless its same class 1v1.

o.o that beggining scene looked nothing like the us aion closed beta. my other friends that play had the same comment on it, all the vids and pics looked a lot better (like this one) then it actually was. iunno if it was just cuz it was version 1.2 in the closed beta @_@ although even with these graphics, after playing age of conan every game's graphics is disapointing ;P

naw their graphics were fine for me. but the game revolved too much around graphics and not enough around gameplay, gameplay was glitchy as hell. but if you took aion's gameplay and put it together with aoc graphics it would be pretty much the perfect game..only most people's computers wouldn't be able to handle it or lag like shit while playing. ;P

This is why i believe I am hooked on this game. This game isn't like WoW where you get owned in a matter of seconds due to an overpowered class just running around owning people. This game looks as if it requires skill to play. I have a 80 on WoW, and am in the Beta for Aion... and honestly i must say, Aion looks like it will be putting up a good fight for players against WoW. <3

Hi, I am following this for some time now and I must agree. It looks great but conan and LOTR did to when they were released. I am a WoW player myself and I think this game has big potential. The spellcasting looks great, as well as the general graphics. Is it more pve or pvp based? And is low lvl fun to play 2? I have so many questions lol

its pvpve its esential to do all its not based on one or the other there or realm vs realm battels there or pvp arenas you can go into the abyss which is pvpve or you can just go hunt monsters its up to you

I played CBT and i can say it is better than wow. It was also fun lvl up trough quests at low level... it has actually good main story linked with most of the quests.. so every character can experience it on its own (player(char) has memory loss from start so he discovers his past with help from npcs and quest and stuff.... its just great game, like i said, better than wow, not just some moneypuller...

Idk about level 50, but i know at level 10 after you ascend (a quest to get your wings and subclass) you can fly for 1 minutes (i believe) and if you preorder the collectors edition you can get an item called "Cloud Wings" where you can fly for an extra 45 seconds

I'm playing the closed beta for the US and EU. I'm very impressed by what I've seen so far. The only things I don't like is that there appears to be no setting for you to keep the same key mappings for every character you make, and it appears you can't change the chat window from being see thru (I really hate that). I think any non fanatic WoW player would like this game.
