Well it's really the only fair way to handle social issues. Who knows what's better for Joplin, than the citizens of Joplin? Who knows what's better for New York, than the citizens of New York? Who knows what's better for the citizens of Las Vegas, Nevada than the citizens of Las Vegas, Nevada? It's absurd that some people think that these bureaucrats up in Washington know how to run our lives better than we can run them ourselves.

It's even more absurd considering that everyone can only vote for 2 senators out of 100 and can only vote for 1 congressmen out of the 435 in the House of Representatives.
