  • This is so cool, I need to find one...or build one...

  • I'm from another planet and laughing at you earthlings and your toys until you figure out how to make a gravity machine vehicle your species are nothing compared to us

za za za za za btw thats how we laugh !

your petroleum burning automobiles is like steam engine cho cho train to us

    za za za za za

  • yawn....this is like watching PAINT dry! lmao

I love vintage Tamiya r/c cars...but this was just bad.

Just like a 100% stupid 'Smart' car electric real cars! barf

  • cool now if only they can make one run on water

  • environmentally friendly car?

hahaha give me a hpi savage on the fuel that runs 50 mph

  • reminds me of something from future land at disney

  • the model is made at 1992 but eaven now it looks like from the future

  • that thing handles pretty well, with its low center of gravity! I agree with all those of you saying "they should re=release it" and then if they add brushless motors, that thing would be SO much more efficient!

  • tamiya should return to sell this model again

  • fuck im drooling on it

  • Looks like someone put wheels on a laptop! I imagine with a good brushless swap that thing would move! I wonder what the Kv numbers are on that ESC.

  • RC is and always was light years ahead of the car industry. How is it we can make this and cant solve our gas issues lol

  • @AQNY23 What? Are you joking?!? The limits of this type of technology make it completely unviable to use in the car industry. Whould you be interested in a slow car that could only drive during sunny days? I don't think you would. People sometimes think that the car industry is owned by gas companies and thus don't want to find or adopt new technologies that would end the petroleum age. Fact is, we simply don't have the necessary technology, but we are getting there...

  • @olhokunamifresquinho It's not a technology issue, it's simply that using petroleum is still cheaper than say, switching every vehicle to run on electricity and replacing all the gas stations into battery charging/switching stations

  • @olhokunamifresquinho

Are you kidding me!! Im a product designer and have been following the TESLA roadster for as long as they had first mentioned the development after watching the movie "Who killed the electric car"... Watch it and learn to see what technologies we have or dont have! We are limited by greedy capitalist pigs that look out for their own pocket and not the greater good. Being a designer, I get turned down whenever we try and move towards green technologies! There are no limits!

  • @olhokunamifresquinho How right you are! People always think that the "evil car companies" are run by "capitalist pigs" who are witholding technology to stuff their pocketbooks, for a good example see misinformed comment by PraviRus below. I work in the industry, researching batteries, fuel cells and charging stations for a living and I can say that as of 2011 the current state of the art technology is nowhere near competetive with a modern internal combustion engine car. Solar is even worse.

  • Do you think it'll get re-released!?!?!

  • is it brushed or brushless?

  • @fordyrox Neither, the + - current flow spins the wheels

  • @fordyrox Very brushed :) It's pretty old. Check out the writeup on the site -- has lots of photos.

  • @UltimateRCnetwork is it fast?

  • @robbyadkins Are you not looking at the video?

  • ~12 hours of rc fun...

  • whats it worth, theres one on ebay right now for 150

  • Mine sold for a little under $300 if I remember right

  • Thank you for posting.
