They may be the cheaper mopars buy they r still badass! Mr.norm made a few in 68-72? Big block A's (weding hemis, 383s 440s and supin up the 340 for more oomph for the demons)

I went looking today for a 69 Cougar my friend told me about in a huge lot with grass grown at least 8 feet high. I not only found the Cougar, but also a 55 Buick and a 70 Satellite with a 318. Guy wants $1200 for the Plymouth and he's already started work on it, but hasn't had time to finish.

Man, does that bring back some memories!!! SHAME those cars just rustin away in that yard.. When I was a Sophmore in HS, I had a 67 Chevelle, had friends that had Mopars ( 1 had 70 Cuda w/440 & pistol grip 4spd, 1 had 71 Challenger, 1 had 62 Polara 500 w/413)

I also had a guy I wheel & dealed with that was paralized from the waist down, he had a 68 Dodge Dart named "Pucker Power" w/built 440 he raced at Quaker City Dragway in OH, he also had street cars..67 GTX 426 Hemi & 66 Charger 426 Hemi.

We drove them hard, we learned to fix nearly every replaceable part.. went through engines.. new or slightly used rear tires every week sometimes.. the interiors got damp.. fungus grew in them.. they rattled after a while.. the windows wouldn't roll up.. they got old.... the cost of making it a reasonably good driver became a burden.. it wasn't lack of respect that landed these cars in fields and yards.. we drove em hard until they were worn beyond reasonable repair costs.. and put em to rest.
