dont let these butchers hack into your nervous system. the serious side effects of sympathetomy has been know for over a hundred years. they unethical butchers only want $
Fix it for free, safely & for good! Sweaty hands, feet, underarms, etc (except when exercising) are caused by the sympathetic autonomic nervous system (ANS). There are two branches to the ANS sympathetic (fight/flight) and para-sympathetic (feed/breed). Notice when you are stressed or nervous the symptoms are worse? Manage stress by reprogramming your ANS. Chiropractic adjustments, breathing exercises, and visualizations will do that for you. Watch my videos to learn more.
Try Drysol it works but might irritate your skin the first or second time you use it , Must use it at night time only. I have had hyperhidrosis my whole life so I know how frustrating it is but Drysol helps :)
I got ETS about 12-13 years ago for severe facial sweating. I now have moderate to minimal compensatory sweating, which I try to mask/control with the right clothing. People don't notice it as much as the hyperhydrosis. It has lessened over time a little but does cause problems at times. But overall, I think it's better than the facial/hand sweating. I also don't sweat under the arms after surgery.
Let's not try to bullshit eachother, chances are most people here commenting have Hyperhidrosis. Those who's life was "ruined" by compensatory sweating after ETS are a statistic and if it truly was the reason your life was "ruined" then obviously you weren't suffering enough. I plan on getting the ETS / ETS - C, if I get compensatory sweating over my body, then fuck it! At least I'll be dry on my hands. It's true, you should only try it as a last resort, but don't scare others from freedom.
ive had it all my life (palmar) and my case is pretty bad. yes its embarassing, but fact of the matter is, all you have to do is change the way you think about it. realize "hey, i may have sweaty hands, but there are so many other horrible diseases that i'm lucky i don't have" and those embarassing situations will seem so miniscule to reality. dont get ETS because you never know how that will turn out. i know alot of people who have HH and honestly, it is not a big deal. I barely notice it
i had hyperhidrosis of the palms, armpits, and feet, so did my sister. we both had the surgery two years ago, it worked wonders for me, though i only had my hands and armpits treated. Ive had no negative side effects and nothing bad to say. my sister had all of her areas treated and has had MAJOR compensatory sweating, my advice?: pick one or the other, if you go for both your hands and feet, youll get the compensatory
DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT get ETS! I'm suffering from compensatory sweating all over my body due to this surgery. Please instead, try iontophoresis. This used everyday, should stop your sweating, I know it's done wonders for my feet, but I still have to deal with whole body compensatory sweat due to this surgery. If only iontophoresis was used before, I would be sweat-free and living a normal life. Please everyone, do not get this surgery!
i have had it since i was little and im only 13.I don't want to get surgery...,i dont know what i should do.I can never give any of my friends a high five.I just tell them,"i dont high five.Fist pound me."(when you make a fist and the other person makes a fist and we pound them together head on lightly).plus,u cant expect me to just not hold a girls hand(hint hint).
also,i sometimes wear gloves(not leather,i use cloth, mitten like, gloves),but it's not allowed in my school. I wear it as much as possible, but my history teacher(fourth out of 6 periods) doesn't let me bend the rules at all. Neither does my 5th period. I haven't given a handshake or highfive in so long, not including special moments where i concentrate really really hard to dry it. I need help other than surgery, any other idea's?thank you.
Investigate NLP (neuro linguistic programming), self hypnosis, & dietary. I have had lifelong SEVERE hyperhidrosis, full body - hands, feet, head, face, back, legs, chest. Full body. It has been nothing but a curse. Make sure to keep your electrolytes replenished because it is zero fun to sweat them out on a hot day and have an electrolyte crisis (it can kill you). Keep a bottle of Gatorade or some sports drink handy when it is hot. Super absorbent chamois towels are helpful also
try a roll on called driclor/drysol, i had sweaty hands for years until i tried this,, use it 3/4 times a day for 2/3 weeks and you will see a big difference i have 95% dry hands now and they only sweat like normal peoples do now, be patient with it, it really does work, hope this helps, good luck.
Look into the real side effects of ets. Dont trust the surgeons selling a surgery. They will never actually get the surgery themselves. You will never find a doctor who got ets. Think about that. You want real honest answers about the side effects of ets ask me. I had it done to me. These fucking butchers have not.
they dont tell you that sweating stop 100%. HAve fun gripping things when your hands are bone dry. These doctors lie and will not tell you the long term side effects of ets. It cant be reversed.
you need a certain amount of moisture on your hands to grip things. ETS stops all moisture on your hands. You will not be able to grip the steering wheel in your vehicle. Your hands will be painfully dry and simple things like turing pages in a book will become hard. ETS destroys a very important sympathetic nerve.
