  • 3 year olds shouldn't play with gas stations. I blame the parents. Not only are you using your daughter, but you're letting her play with gas stations??

  • Hey genius, you see her tug on it twice, and then you see another hand pull it off. It's the magic of cinema that she's not ACTUALLY the one pouring gas. That was my hand.

She had a blast participating in the video, and she was never in danger for a second. When we won 2500 dollars for making that video, i put a substantial amount aside for her education. But then again, I guess I'm just a neglectful parent endangering my child...

  • She wasn't the one handling the gas pump - that was the magic of editing. I was right behind her while she lifted it, and the camera was on a tripod. The hand holding the pump to the jeep was mine. Gosh, I hope you don't let your children do dangerous things like walk around outside of a gas station.

Believe it or not, she's almost 6, and still alive! My negligence hasn't cost her life or anything.

  • @ShamusG14 have you noticed that I'm 12 and don't have children. Damn, do your research before you try to make me sound dumb, and I really don't give a shit if your daughter won 2500 dollars.

  • you've got a bit of a nasty mouth on you for a 12 year old... best of luck in the future! I'll work on doing better research on commenters, if you promise to reserve judgement of how other people parent, until you have your own kids. Deal?

  • You must suck as a parent. Don't you know that sarcasm sucks over text?

  • @iChocolateGirl I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person. Good day to you. Done and done.

  • @iChocolateGirl Really?....Good you be anymore immature?

  • Why is everything about politics? We will py for gas no matter how much it cost's. Leave the cute talented little girl out of it... Let her be a winner. I believe she will win it. I hope she grows up to be whatever it is that she wants. YOu got my vote Shamus. Addorable little girl.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ANYONE WHO VOTED FOR US.

It's such an honor to have been a finalist, and I have nothing but respect for Alfonso and the Dark Hero.

    You guys were awesome.

    No haters please.

God Bless, and congratulations to my 3 year old princess. I can't believe someone had the nerve to say she was an awful actor. I'm pretty sure that blogger was probably still playing in his own feces when he was 3!!!

    THANKS EVERYONE!!!!

  • Shamus! Congratulations Main! God bless ya!

Bust out with the cake and Ice cream, for the little one! Good job ya'll!!!

  • Thanks so much man. We got lucky...I guess my mom knows more people than I thought!!

You're freakin' talented man, and I am so humbled to have even been in the same competition as you and the Dark Hero. I hope something can change so that everyone can feel a little relief.

God bless you, and keep on speaking the truth.

  • I hope that this clarifies my stance on things! I wish politicians weren't afraid to say what the think, mean what they say, and act as they should.

    Regards,

    Shamus

  • Furthermore, it is my opinion that even by passing comprehensive legislation with provision for the study and implementation of alternative fuel, coupled with loosened restrictions on domestic drilling, will send a powerful enough message to the world market that prices may correct themselves, and we may not have to drill as extensively as would be allowed by new provisions.

  • Also, I'm not suggesting we release our emergency reserves, or drill everything. All studies tell us that there is an abundance of oil, especially in the Dakotas, and that we won't even have to go into the Arctic circle for some time.

  • However, right now we have a situation where the speculators point to the distributors, the distributors point to the suppliers, the suppliers point to the middle east, and the middle east point to one another and back at the international market. We need to become a larger player in the international oil scene. Once that happens, even the greediest of oil companies will have to be careful not to continue the gouging, because Americans will expect that all will be well with increased drilling.

  • This is similar to what happened in the 70's. We got a grasp on things, postured ourselves in a manner that suggested we would do what it took to reduce prices and increase supply, and magically, the oil shortage was resolved, and prices returned to normalcy. I know the domestic oil companies want to soak up every penny, and will still control prices to a fault.

  • If I can't feed, shelter, clothe and school my child because of gas and inflation, then I doubt I will be concerned about how she will fill up her tank with gas.

  • I am ALL for alternative fuel. I am very concerned about the environment, the ozone layer, and the animals with which we share this Earth. However, I know that realisitically, we CANNOT afford to continue paying $4.00/gallon for gas right now. Our economy cannot sustain it, and the transfer of wealth from us, to the rest of the world is going to have far worse implications than whether or not we will have oil in the ground for my kid.

  • I truly believe that we need a comprehensive answer to our energy crisis. However, I truly believe that this gas issue is DIRECTLY impacting every element of our economy. Gas is driving everything up, causing inflations, which is directly impacting the stock market, the building industry, etc., which is impacting the finance industry, which is impacting the stock market again!!!!

  • However, I suspect that although the technologies are out there, they are in their developmental stages and are likely not affordable by the average citizen. Let the elite pay for their development and implementation (like early cell phones and computers). Leo and George appear to be more than happy to subsidize their development!

  • I am so glad the energy issue is front and center now. My hope is that when she is older, we won't need the gas, and the alternatives will have been truly explored and implemented. We need to do EVERYTHING.

  • She is very cute. The video is neat, especially when she "pumps" gas. :)

About the message though, I just wonder if we do drill here, now, will there be fuel left when she grows up? Or for her kids? What happens when this country runs out of its reserves completely? I think it's time to look at other alternatives. We should ask our local government--- what happened to the light rail? Can we make TARC run more efficiently? Drilling can't be the only answer.

    Thank you.

  • very cute and talented also. You should be sooo proud.

  • Oh my gosh, I love her!!

  • This girl's got stardust on 'er! Just don't let Hollywood mess 'er up! BTW. She's hardly pitiful. God bless 'er!

  • I havnt seen acting like this since Shamus Greene as the tickle! I cant believe your making this little girl pay all your bills. You need to start handing out some more business cards asap! No milk and bread? There is a hole in my heart.....

  • This little girl is so beautiful. She was made for the camera! She nailed it. That's exactly how I feel about gas prices, groceries, and bills. She is so pitiful...

  • Comments, please! But only nice ones!!!

  • Someone, please rate me!
