I think Neal will develop more as he gets settled down in a line. He got put in the middle of a team that was desperate for players during a hard time. Hockey is not all goal scoring and he definitely does the little things that count.

@MrSpiderGage Yeah but family has nothing to do with it. The NHL is a business and the trade was a business decision, they were in the same organization but not the same team. Brothers are seperated all the time. If Neal goes back to the Stars, it will be because he wants to, not because of his brother. He has the oppurtunity to play with Crosby, play in front of sold out crowds and compete for the Stanley Cup every year. I don't know if he'll give that up, especially if Richards leaves Dallas.

@MrSpiderGage Why would he go back to Dallas? Brad Richards is gone. Why would he want to leave playing with Malkin and Crosby. He will be in Pittsburgh for a long time my friend. Leading goal scorer this year. Don't know if your a Stars fan but I do have alot of respect for their team. Mike Modano obviously best American player ever. Goligoski still one of my faves as well.

Good trade for the penguins... the thing I don't get is Nieuwendyk says they have been looking for an offensive, pucking moving defenseman which Goligoski is, but if they would have drafted Cam Fowler in the draft you don't have to give up James Neal just yet. Fowler is fully capable of being that offensive defenseman. As he is showing already with the Ducks.

@PittsburghPenguins02 I'm hoping Crosby is back this season. it all depends on how his concussion progresses. If he's not 100% by playoffs, keep him out until next season. I'm just hoping he feels better by mid to end of march. But I agree, as long as we can resign key guys we will be good. Kunitz, Crosby, Dupuis, Malkin, Neal, Letestu, Cooke, Staal, Orpik, Letang, Martin, Michalek, Niskanen, Engelland, Lovjoy. We need to resign Kennedy, Rupp, Talbot, Adams and Asham. Then we'll be set.

I dont think all those guys are going to stick around, my guess is that talbot, rupp and probably adams will be gone. most fans are calling for malkin to be traded as well but i dont think he will. i know 1 thing, i want to see tangradi on the ice as a penguin next season and not in the minors. i think shero is going to pull off another trade before the deadline too

@PittsburghPenguins02 I agree and disagree. We're not going to trade Malkin and Shero will most likely make another trade. But in terms of people getting resigned, I think it will be Dupuis, Talbot, Rupp, Adams, and Kennedy sticking around because of the chemistry. They bring so much character and leadership. I think Asham and Godard will leave. Im doubtful of Tangradi, he doesn't play well under Dan Bylsma, his name was in the mix with the Stars trade. So he might be traded later on. Who knows?
