it is not so much Nichole as the TItan Marker fucking with Isaac Clarke's guilt. Titan Marker Nichole is evil where as Red Marker Nichole helped Isaac to stop the contain the Hive Mind but Kendra had the bright idea of removing the Red Marker from it place.

Btw, Once the Marker has marked you, all markers can read your mind. Good or for ill, Markers can influence you thru dead relative inwhich you have strong emotions for. Like a loved one. In case with Isaac, he had strong emotions

Nice find man you deffinately know your Dead Space info trivia hahahaha, I kinda started to think that too, noticing the different reactions of both nicole and isaac around different markers, i also go to the dead space wiki every now and then when i feel confused also but deffinately a big RIGHT ON for the info hehehe thanks :D

@1986rich The Ghost Nicholes are not true Nichole but a reflections of Isaac's psyche/emotions. So Red Marker Nichole is more love and yearnings to be whole. Where Titan Marker Nichole is about guilt and rage that Isaac feel because he feels that he let her down.

All markers influence but don't cause NecroMorphs. Within Dead Space 2, NecroMorph Nichole's body has the recombined virus that made the inital DS2 Nercomorphs.

Speculation: All markers have an network.

@Rani1597 in a nut shell, somewhere in our future a religios group known as "unitology" (sounds alot like scientology to me) take a planet cracking mining ship & go looking for a marker made by some alien species or something and when they get too or remove it from its original spot somehting goes wrong and people start mutating and becoming infected, all the while you're not sure if what you're seeing is real or if the main character is going insane from the marker too :D
