  • GREAT JOB THIS IS COOL

    THANK YOU

  • GOOSEBUMPS!!! I loved seeing this, amazing job! :-)

  • Thanks! This is a edited version of my movie. The original was sync'ed to big brass versionof the old tune, "I'm Beginning To See The Light". when the lights first start coming back to life but due to copyright issues I did not include. It also had the sound of kids splashing and laughing around the long since drained (unseen) pool. And period music on the radio. It was a (motel and) sign that they were about to demolish and I wanted to try, one last time, to bring it back to its heyday.

  • Well done!

  • fucking amazing. if you could make a tutorial it would REAllY help!!

  • This was made from a single image. I drew the various 'neon' components in layers on top of the original. Then I saved images with various parts 'lit'. Sequence those still images and... 'instant animation'! The sync'd sound effects bring it all together. Thanks for checking it out!

  • Bravo dude. Just happened by your video and thought is was cool. Gave it 5 stars!

  • Thanks for the stars! I cut this video down from my original due to potential copyright issues with music cues that I used. I just wanted to re-animate a dead neon sign. I think it worked out pretty good.

  • Thanks for checking out the video! Yeah, it took a while but I thought it would be cool to bring the old sign back to 'life', as it were.

  • I'm so impressed with your ability. Even the sound effects are great! I've played this clip over and over again. Into neon signs, I find your work so amazing!

  • Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out the video(s). Your comments made my day!

  • I really, really don't understand this video o.O

  • This is a re-edited version of a short vid that I did. I was out with my camera one day and found this motel sign (The motel was about to be demolished) Back home I wanted to see if I could fix and 'relight' the neon in Photoshop (Corel Photopaint, really) From there, I wanted to see if I could animate it and bring it 'back to life'. So it goes from windy, abandoned, Black and White of today back to it's 50's Technicolor heyday. It had copyrighted music on it that I thought I'd better remove.
