Damn I remember when I first saw final fantasy, then I played even on the Pegasus and Love the RPG was a departure for me since I entered the world of gaming, but when I saw this game I fell in love again is amazing ... something so wonderful is not lived for 7 years! If that was not enough, the music did Laura's another reason to love this game

@notthere83 I played the game, and they have some resemblance, but at the same time it's different. same with Eternal Sunshine and Memento... it's like they merged and mutated. the main story of this game is more about the man's specific life rather than the setup too.
@posmic0 i don't see any connection to eternal sunshine and memento. the only thing THAT reminds me of is western viewers who try to make pathetic connections to the only productions they know (like they e.g. do in the imdb-reviews for "man from nowhere").

Def one of the best stories and music in game. Its basically story telling game but you feel you actually take part in it. That effect wont be the same if it were a movie :)
Gee, I play games like Battlefield3, Street Fighter 4, Skyrim such. After trying this little game, I preety much admit the story is pretty awesome and the music is very outstanding. I'm surprised I feel sad and very pity to an old man wishes "to the moon". And as Skyrim fan, I happy to admit that I proud playing this game
whole game was brilliant, but if i had a chance to change something, it would be the ending. im trying not to spoil anything, but i'd prefer metaphorical and romantic one, not hollywood one.
This game captured my heart its truly emotional throughout the whole sequence of events, its enchanting , spiritual, charming and hauntingly beautiful...its something else.

@Mavi222 because that source takes advantage of developers, especially indie ones. taking huge cuts for little service. and especially because i don't see why it would make any difference. what does it matter what pay service you provide your credit card information to and what server you download from? it's the same, except that if you buy from developers, they actually get almost all of your money while on steam, they get maybe 50%
@notthere83 if I buy it from Steam I will have everything in one big library without having to search for any download links.. I don't care about the money the dev gets from me. Not that I don't like Indie developers, but it's their decision to be or not to be on Steam (and have 25 000 000 potentional customers). I am collector, I have 500+ games on Steam, and I really don't want to care about all the download links to all the games that aren't sold on Steam, so I'll just pass them.

This game is amazing. Its heartfelt, true and most importantly does tell a simple heartwarming story of two people's lives intertwined and how a simple event or decision in one's life can play such a big impact. Definitely one of the best games of all times for me. <3

One thing I don't like is how focused on RELATIONSHIPS it is. To me a deep game must be a SOLITARY experience, like Limbo. This is like a soap opera to me. I don't like soap operas. I like solitary, existential experiences - Limbo. Half Life somehow. I don't know...Another World. Games have to yet express their real potential.

I finished the game in 4 hours and I must admit this was my best gaming experience. The story was well-thought out, it really moved me... I really lived the situation and made me actually think about my own life.. How do I cope with my problems? What do I do, to lead a life, to which I can proudly look back when my time comes? So much emotions in this masterpiece that I can't even express myself with words... It can't be described, you have to live it. This game changed me someway... Thank you..
This really is a great game. I remember seeing a preview for it somewhere and downloaded it immediately. I didn't get around to playing it 'til today, and I just finished it about 20 minutes ago. This is the only game I've had the pleasure of playing that has made me cry. Give this game a try, you can even play it for an hour free before you buy it.

It's developers like this that give me faith in the future of gaming. Seriously, a trailer like this feels like a Robin Williams movie, and no matter what anyone says, his movies were spectacular. The music in the trailer is amazing, the sprites look very well rendered, and it's a classic style of RPG that even the modern day "gamers" should be able to enjoy.

Just finished it. Best game I ever played. The story was very touching. The climax got me hating on Eva for a while but playing through the story made me actually smile with tears of joy. Seriously this guy needs to be hired by some major gaming company. This indie stuff is better than every game ever made as of now.
Just... fantastic. People who made this deserve a great award. The game made me cry, it made me laugh, and it was suspenseful when it needed to be. Simply, bravo.

I am against the idea of PLOT altogether in a game. It must all be about atmosphere. This game doesn't immerse me in a deep atmosphere like Limbo or Half Life do, no matter what their "story" is. I care little about the story, even in movies. What I want is a mood, a parallel universe to LIVE and BREATHE in. Doesn't matter WHAT happens there. And oh, I hate dialogue in games. I always skip

I finished the game in 4 hours and I must admit this was my best gaming experience. The story was well-thought out, it really moved me... I really lived the situation and made me actually think about my own life.. How do I cope with my problems? What do I do, to lead a life, to which I can proudly look back when my time comes? So much emotions in this masterpiece that I can't even express myself with words... It can't be described, you have to live it. This game changed me someway... Thank you..

This really is a great game. I remember seeing a preview for it somewhere and downloaded it immediately. I didn't get around to playing it 'til today, and I just finished it about 20 minutes ago. This is the only game I've had the pleasure of playing that has made me cry. Give this game a try, you can even play it for an hour free before you buy it.

I have played computer games my entire life. This is the single greatest gaming experience I have ever had.
From such a simple idea comes one of the most powerful and poignant stories in gaming history.
All with 16-bit graphics and text dialogue. EA games and other mainstream developers......eat your heart out!
If computer games are indeed art then this game is a piece par excellence!

It's developers like this that give me faith in the future of gaming. Seriously, a trailer like this feels like a Robin Williams movie, and no matter what anyone says, his movies were spectacular. The music in the trailer is amazing, the sprites look very well rendered, and it's a classic style of RPG that even the modern day "gamers" should be able to enjoy.
WHY ARE YOU NOT ONE OF THE BIG GAME COMPANIES? Throw a few dollars more into making your games, and you could be a big success.

Just finished it. Best game I ever played. The story was very touching. The climax got me hating on Eva for a while but playing through the story made me actually smile with tears of joy. Seriously this guy needs to be hired by some major gaming company. This indie stuff is better than every game ever made as of now.
