Why dont you scrutinize the media. If you have a problem with him *peter joseph* misinforming people, why dont you have a problem with the people that really misinform the world. Only a small % of the world has even seen Zeitgeist part 1 or 2. Use your research skills to help the zeitgeist movement.

The "media" is far too broad a term. Some media is more objective and some subjective. A lot of it is out right wrong or poor journalism. There is my scrutiny. There are already plenty of satirical and serious scrutinizers of the media who do a fine job. I have yet to see anyone explore Zeitgeist in such depth. I am helping the people in this movement by setting the facts straight.

Here's a little scrutiny though: GERMAN YOUTUBE HAS BLOCKED THIS VIDEO! German Internet censorship is apparently more of a problem than I imagined. I thought China was bad. Wow. Isn't Germany part of the FREE WORLD now?

For some, the "crossing" was when the sun "rose" perfectly aligned (conjunction) with the earth, and center of the milky way. AND when it "set" (opposition) in that alignment. The conjunction (about 25,000 yrs ago) was said to be good, but opposition (about 12,500 yrs ago) is bad. 2012 will a conjunction. Now...check the archeological findings of weather on the earth over the last 25,000 years. I had to chuckle. It actually matches up very well. So 2012 should be OK...LOL...We can all relax.

I tend to always try to consider everything that is possible then go from the least likely to the most. IE: Sitchen never considers that maybe the Sumerians were simply lied to by the Anunaki. Otherwise, otherwise how would one explain 4000 year old light bulbs and batteries, and no other high tech stuff? why would they keep the Sumerians dumbed down like that? How long did WE have a battery and light bulb before we had entire cities lit up? Maybe the Anunaki lied to have slaves and worshipers.

No I didn't comment on the wrong vid, I just got off the beaten path. Sorry about that. I've done a lot of research into the crossing and it's touched me down on some pretty "off the path" sources and subjects. In the end, you'd be surprised at how many of them connect.

But on the weather cycle thing: Roughly 25,000 years ago (on the conjuction), is when they believe Egypt was turned into a desert. But N. America became green and rich. A lot of canyons were formed by moving icebergs and the ice was in retreat into Canada. That's the period where they think most tribes in N.A. were formed. But around 12,500 years ago (opposition) suddenly much life was wiped out by catastrophic weather and earth changes. Animals frozen with food in their mouths.

I will probably have to agree with you on the "Cross of the Zodiac". I found this to be "iffey" when I first watched ZG part 1. But to say for sure I will have to research this in depth. This is a tough one. The cross is much more likely to have come from the Ankh.

The oldest examples are in Ireland and surprisingly, Denmark! They apparently had nothing to do with the zodiac though. Celts DID use the sun imagery and put the sun behind the cross to show the parallels between the sun and Christ. (According to legend as all things are over there)

Wrong again. Ancient Babylonians were able to predict eclipses and had at least a century of recorded eclipses. Using a bad citation does not disprove historical evidence. And by the way, Peter is unhappy with his sources as well for Zeigeist (the first movie), and he will be releasing a director's cut to clarify things sometime in the future.

I'll get you the Babylonian carvings. I believe there was also an Egyptian system as well, I'll try and add that too. Please give me some time though, my plate's pretty full right now. I've already researched the majority of of the claims in ZG pt.1 and seen them for myself in historical documents. And many other things not mentioned in the movie or by other writers.

Also, where did you hear that Peter was not happy with the sources? Did he have to back-track or something?

He said it himself recently on his TalkRadioBlog. I'll admit some of his sources are lame, but look to the original works he took this information from to get the facts. His expertise lies more in the economic side of things. But the majority of what he says is fact for Zeitgeist part 1. He should never have used some of those weak sources when there were far better.
