  • I love this. Thank you thank you. I can't believe how many moms tgere are in my state of Pennsylvania.

  • the music makes it even more dramatic and touching....

  • We Need a film putting ALL Autism Mothers together-There is Power in Numbers

  • DO A WEB SEARCH ON:

    charles h. miranda OR:

    charlesthepoet2003 OR:

    charlesthepoet2004

    THANKS.

  • ★ THIS★ VIDEO★ MADE★ ME★ AUTISTIC★

  • You women and your partners and families are heroes. I work with kids and adults who have autism. You are heroes.

  • Does anyone know the name of the song that is playing in this video and who sings it.

  • My 10 year old with Asperger's after 7 years of intense therapies he has "graduated" and is mainstreamed with High Honors. Check out the video on my page. There's hope. Contact me if you need support. It's been a long, hard journey and only other mom's with autistic children can understand. xoxoxox

  • Are there any autism moms in the Portland, Oregon metro area? I don't know any others but me.

  • It is always a joy to see people from around the world uniting in one voice for a common purpose. Great Job!

  • greyeyedgoddess43 - thought you were a baddie - nice to see you making a positive comment.

  • We will win...... the right to an education without an exhausting fight for it.

We will win...... the right to select the school WE want for our child

We will win...... the right to non discrimination

We will win...... the right to inclusion on every level.

We will win...... the right to funding and to use it as WE see fit.

We will win...... an education that is suited to the Autistic childs needs rather than making the Autistic child suit the school!!!

  • @misscalais Absolutely. Mothers for and against autism need to meet common ground and fight for something realistic--- autistic rights and accomodations. I have Asperger's, and my diagnosis was not caught during school. My life would have been so much easier if it had been. As an adult I can't hold regular relationships or coddle my own daughter constantly. But I wouldn't change my autism for my life, only make the world more accepting of how peculiar I am.

  • @ApollonApostle You are not peculiar AA you are beautiful! My son was upset one day because of his ASD, he wanted to know why he wasn't normal? I told him 'pft, who wants to be normal? normal is boring, I'd rather be anything but normal' etc. until he started smiling and laughing, Yes there are difficulties in relating to the rest of the world, but the rest of the world has to know by now, that WE are not going anywhere.

  • Hi, Please don't think me obtuse, I can't seem to find a clear answer - I'm 100% behind you but I can't work out what it is you will win?

You cannot cure us, you'd be rude to prevent us (prenatally speaking), so we're just talking about how we can all just get along, free from pain, with basic needs put first.

I'm Aspergers, I love all of you and I speak for all Autistic people.

The answer is right under your noses ;) x

  • @ClearYoga The fight is for autistic people to have the same rights as non-autistic people <3

I don't want to fight autism, I love my son the way he is. I don't love the way he's treated sometimes though.

  • It is so therapuetic for Mother's to see this and know they are not alone. Probably a rare treat to meet eachother and feel this bond. Should do one for dad's too. Don't know how this helps stop the increase of Autism or increases the cures of more kids with it.

  • @lyle603 I am glad that comment was removed. Maybe you can comment again ways that are helpful. Even if the mercury in the shots did cause the ASD it is not something the moms did on purpose. Getting the child shots is something a parent does to protect them from diseases. I also, don't blame mercury in shots for my condition.

  • brilliant im and mother of as son xxxx

  • It is a beautiful video. I have Asperger's, mild autism. I do want to give recognition to autism mothers; including mine.

  • @lyle603 It is possible; but not proved that mercury content (thimerosal) had anything to do with their condition; neither do I blame mercury in shots for my condition. I can't give a thumbs up your comment.

  • @healthmusic @lyle603. I might hope you give a helpful comment. Even if the shots did cause the autism it is not something parents did on purpose. They got the shots to protect their child from diseases. I appreciate the autism moms including mine. I also appreciate my wife who has borne with me and my AS.

  • Amazing.. to see mothers uniting throughout the world; shows and gives so much hope:)

  • This brought me to tears, Its great to see moms stick by each other through their struggles

  • "Win" what exactly??

  • @greyeyedgoddess43 Achieving recognition re. our kids, protecting their rights to live as much of a 'normal' life as they can without prejudice and ignorance standing in the way, supporting efforts to perform research, implement effective methods and help, prevent unneccesary death or suffering.. Promote effective information distribution, break through isolation many families live with: The list is long..

  • @greyeyedgoddess43 the fight against autism.....

  • Father of B/G ages 11/14 and I have to say this is GREAT!!! Saving to Fav's. Thank you so much & God Bless

  • i am a single father from a girl of 22 with autism, nice done everyone

  • Great video - lets hope this inspires and helps other families through their own difficulties. Well done everyone!

  • Love it brilliant video :0) xxxJoolsxxx

  • I enjoyed being involved in this project!!! There are so many Warrior Moms and so many lies we were told.

  • @jeremiah1129 You mention you were involved with this project. Do you know the name of the song that is playing in this video? It is absolutly beautiful as is the whole video.

  • It brought me to tears. Thank you.

  • Awesome video! I'm also a mother of an Autistic child. Our Isabell is the light of our lives & we will never give up on her. Blessings...

  • Most people start out thinking they are alone. They are the only one with a child like this. Even now, most parents stay 'hunkered down" at home-isolated. These women in this video are only a small fraction of the real number of mothers out there. Please take this video to heart, join together, get active in your local support groups. If there isn't a support group near you, then create one. Don't suffer alone - we can be a much more powerful alliance if we all join together.

  • just love it!!!!

  • what a beautiful and powerful video! all these women and mothers of autistic children are very special as are their children! i cried my tears!

  • proud nj mom of a little boy with autism. love the video.

  • Beautiful video, makes me cry every time I watch it. It also reminds me I am not alone. Thank you!

  • I'm a mother of an autistic girl who also has written a song about her diagnosis....I love that they have done this video...it's so inspiring to me!!! Wow. For all other mom's out there...keep the faith...you are NOT alone!!!

  • I thought this was an amazing endeavor to piece together mothers from all over the world. I do a lot of charity work for autism with my music and I just stumbled across this tonight. Thank you for spreading the awareness in a very unique way. We must all do our part in bringing about more awareness to autism and this was a very beautiful way. Great job ladies.

  • (this is my hubby's profile) I LOVED this!! I feel sooo alone here, because I have only met one other mom of an Autistic child. It is encouraging to see people who care about us mommys who devote our lives to our children, and fighting for them!

  • This video alway's lifts my spirits, well done to all of you :0)

  • I need to watch this over and over to remember that I am not alone. Just this morning my husband said what happened to you and our kids has happened to thousands of other families. I hate PHARMA and what they have done to our kids. We will win.

  • What a beautiful, beautiful video.

Thank you for the initiative... and the chance to have a good (happy) cry!

  • Anyone else from San Diego???

  • Just as I started feeling so alone, I found this video. Thank you. Fight on sisters, our children will prevail!

  • Excellent video production

  • You give a whole new meaning to that little black dress!

Wonderful achievement. I've blogged about you all and wish you well. I've got an autistic son too and know what it's like.

    Jean Shaw

  • My sister did not vaccinate her children, which led me to investigate. I saw a few crazy videos on YouTube, then I saw this one. My heart goes out to each of you and your families. Someone will hear you.

  • Thank you boisrus, we appreciate your thoughts

  • The song is by Leona Lewis and the title is "Run". I tried to post the lyrics, but I went over the limit--you can find the lyrics on google by typing: Leona Lewis Run Lyrics. I applaud ALL mothers of autistic children. Thank you for all of your hard and endless work you do for your children and thank you also for posting your beautiful pictures on this video. Lots of love to all of you and your children!

  • As an autism mom I want to say thanks to the other moms who sent their photos as well- it's so reassuring to know that we're not alone. With Love & Hope, -Z from Dubai

  • I am honored to know many of the NW Indiana Moms-they have all inspired me. Their children are amazing, and inspire me as well!

  • great video, as an autism grandmother, I am in awe of my daughter's strength, video says it all!

need a grandmother's group, we feel the pain of our daughter and live with sorrow for our grandchild.

  • Can someone post the lyrics ? They're part of the powerful message of this video - IMHO :). Thanks!

  • it's "run" by snow patrol, not sure who sings this version though

  • As a Mom who walks in their shoes, I know what these ladies go through. What a beautiful video! Hugs go out to all the Moms out there who live this every day!

  • No - this is for the collegiality of the mothers - and the power that resides therein! Excellent as is.

  • Simply heros!

  • Proud to be one of the moms from Illinois. The truth shall set you free.

  • fantastic! ! proud to be there in downing street

  • Who sings this song? Is it available for download.

It is such a beautiful song!

  • wow beautiful people

  • you are amazing

  • That was so beautiful. I want to do that with our local mothers. Our County citizens are so unaware of autism. The looks we get and the comments we hear.

We NEED to let them know. We NEED to educate them.

  • Incredible video ladies - thank you!

  • Beautiful ladies!!!!! Keep looking up!!!!!!

God bless you and your little ones!

  • Makes me cry every time! - a mixture of sadness and happiness... which in turn reminds me of my son. Thank you.

  • I saw Louise in the NJ pic! Fantastic ladies!

  • that was awesome! I wish I knew other Autism mothers.. it would be nice to not have to explain my children for once..

  • Go to "I'm not a bad parent...I just have a child with Asperger's" on FB - might find a link there. A huge support!

  • I have never heard of this before. Great video.

  • I'm so greatful to have gotten to be a part of this...the most amazing moms I've ever met in my life are in this video!

  • The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. Our children deserve for us to dream the best dreams we can.

  • Love to see all the familiar faces. I enjoyed the boxing gloves in Chicago, the 007 poses is Wigand, England, and the moms with wine:) This was such a great project!

  • Cheers to these moms who will never take for granted a child's smile, a child's word or a child's eye contact. May we all remember to value life's often overlooked gifts ... including the gift of a mom's advocacy, tenacity and undying belief in the power of one. May the power of one ultimately mean the power of "won."
