  • @sconny09 When you are lifting a lot of weight your heart has to pump blood into the areas that are most compressed, so when he's doing a rack pull with more weight than he can deadlift, his muscles are getting a lot more attention than normal.

  • Looks knee height to me but if it is slightly above who cares? Nobody else is doing that. Andy Bolton could probably do it but Nick isn't wearing all the assistance gear that Bolton does.

  • @spawn039 i think YOU are stupid. thats just 40lbs difference but over 50-60cm more way to pull. rack pulls are THE exercise to use exessive weights. but it says not much about your real deadlift strength. nearly everybody could pull 450 within a short time

  • @ajaxmon deadlift suits dont offer that much support, especially someone bolton's size that waist is very large,getting the tightness in the deadlift suit is difficult as it makes it very hard to reach the bar from the floor. boltons suit gives him about 30lbs assistance at the most.

  • @ajaxmon not to mention this was done with straps, bolton can hold 1014lbs bar with just chalk, no wraps for 20 seconds after lifting from mid thigh hieght.
