  • Tertiary? lol.. Great tutorial, yet again! Better than 90% of what's out there, spoken in indian dialects. It's probably too late, knowing that you most likely know better since Jan 17, 2011, but take a look at: (a link) blogs.msdn.com/b/ericlippert/archive/2010/02/18/whats-the-difference-between-ternary-and-tertiary.aspx .

Two different things? Perhaps? lol. I know what you meant. GREAT JOB!!! Keep 'em coming!

  • Nice video! Keep up the good work. you shouldn't use num++ in your evaluative expression unless you want that function actually performed. In other words, num++ isn't a return function, it actually changes the value of the variable

  • nice vid, random var

  • Interesting, I have always heard it called a "ternary operator". I believe you can do the same thing in JavaScript. I am not sure about other languages though.

    Great tuts, keep em coming.

  • @midwest13 Yes, Ternary is the name it is given, sorry, Tertiary means third, while Ternary means "of 3" so yes, ternary, I always say it wrong though. :( :P

  • @asdfasdfasdfasdfa978 You can not overload special symbols (as far as I have been able to tell), thus, to make a "quadrary" operator or more, you must make a function.
