My good man, those figures have been reduced. Many of the ICBMs had to be decomissioned and the expenses to keep the ICBMs was also extremely high (maintance, fueling, staff, bunkers, crew, etc...) and USA and Russia (or well Soviet Union) both realized that there is really no need for 10000 nukes... They both STILL have enough to bomb the earth 6 times over. However these figures of 2000 and 198 are from accurate sources, I can't remember where I got them, its been a while.

So this is the exstent to which knowledge can be twisted? I find it odd how one automaticaly believes ones testimony immedietely without giving it a further thought nor questioning it.
I suppose we could also go ahead and say that because someone says there is no proof that tobaco causes cancer that you should believe the man whos salary is based on not understanding or twisting and blurring fact from fiction.

The speaker Webster Tarpley is a respected political analyst. He's been studying US foreign policy for over 30 years and has good sources. He's a specialist of Brzezinski, the strategist who was Jimmy Carter's adviser. He advised Carter to lure the USSR to Afgh. and to fund the jihad in order to destroy the USSR. He succeeded but the jihad remained and now the blowback is happening. The US is in the same position the USSR was in in Afgh. Tarpley is reliable.

@samdendhondup Tibet is a territory of China. If they rebelled they would just be killed. Forget Tibetan Independence if you really loves Tibet. Why? With the current military power of China.. Tibetans stood no chance to humiliate the Chinese government.

I being a tibetan and living as a refugee in other country. It hurts lot when you realized that you have no country to be proud off. When big events like Olympic and world cup of any games occurs, all of my friends have their country to cheer for, but for tibetans, we feel like v r left alone.

@samdendhondup The colonial independence after world war 2 is a different story... Even Philippines gained independence from USA, it was not because they fought for it, but it was granted freely. Same with other countries.
Do you think China and Chinese will give Tibet up?? Believe me, they'll fight for it with their lives. Stop dreaming like those things.. just go with the flow, and dance with it, who knows, you can be rich by cooperating with the Communist government?
