agreed, this is a basilisk, looks too young to tell but my guess is female. the mouth shape and eye placement almost made me say it was a chinese water dragon but then i saw the scale shape and the waddle on the neck.
it could be a basilisk (basiliscus plumifrons)just out of the egg.. because its too white on the belly for it to be older than a day.. or it is some Ctenosaura species (black iguana) most of them are green when newborn.. but they av very scaly tails however but there are a few that have smoth tail as newborns like ctenosaura similis.. i have have successfull breeding on both species in the past..
Hey, I love lizards more than you ever can imagine. And that lizard doesn't look like a basilisk. I KNOW how they look like, I know the species names and so on. Got any problem with knowledge? Jävla kukhuvve...
shut up u know shit about reptiles u probly have a worthless house gecko or something? ever own any of mine?: 3 Black And white tegus,3 beardies, 1 water dragon, African bull frog, dumpy tree frog, gray tree frog, 2 fire belly toads, 2 pacman frogs, 1 blood python, 1 ball python, 1 amenalistic corn snake, 1 Black throat monitor, 1 frilled dragon, and a savannah monitor. so there do u know anyof those names where the hell do u see BASILISK in my comment HUH HUH?
I've had a waterdragon and a iguana. But it doesn't matter how many pets you have. KNOWLEDGE about the species is the shit. I've been interested by lizards since i was 3 years old. Can you beat that? No. And since i was in that age i have learned everything i could find. And you wrote in the headline that you thought it was a basilisk... xD
0k listen ive had and ive been interested in LIZARDS and all reptiles by the time i was 3 i knew over 50 types of reptiles AMAZINGLY i could identify them... i had a adult red iguana when i was 2 years old it was acctually my parents but i would alway be with her she was 6 feet and she died 2 years ago :( but anyway and i know it doesnt matter how much i have but i also have knowledge but that for sure is no anole.
I don´t believe you there because a 3 year old child cannot read or understand such things. (I know how small children work, I´ve learned it in school). But all that does´nt matter. You wondered what kind of lizard it could be and I came with a guess. That´s it. So stop nagging at me, I did´nt want to have a fight.
Of course they can know what a turtle is. But what you said is way to smart, especially when you does´nt know what kind of lizard that is now. Stop lying instead and shut up. I´m done with you.
it looks kind,ve like a chinese water dragon, if u still have i piss it off and see if a crest on the back of it's neck comes out, that mens it's a basalisk
Hi. I think that is a baby Spiny Tailed Iguana.You can see the spines at the base of the tail in one of the photos.

it looks like a green basilisk when you look at the legs and tail but the head says its either a water dragon or a suborder iguana
darcy999999 2 years ago
@darcy999999
I find it hard to believe it is anything else than a baby wood iguana
lugeman221 1 year ago
The first picture is a ghost crab. The lizard is neither a green iguana or green basalisk, but I would still say in the suborder iguania.
