  • Actually, jeffk8900, the dashboard and the yahoo widgets ARE both open source.

    To view the source-files of the dashboard widget, you just need to right-click it and select "Show Package Content".

    The Yahoo! widget needs to be repackaged to a folder-type widget before you can view its source files, which you can do with Yahoo!s free "Widget converter"
