the sound has to do with the guitar they use,i have an old guitar and it gives a better sound than a new one, check it out,its on my channel ,the song its call the end of madness
@Travis99079 no, the g2 has many different features than the g2 [example: g2 has a 6 band equalizer, g1 has a 3 band] and other things. DONT BUY THE G1 IF YOU CAN SAVE A LITTLE MORE FOR THE G2. its much better
actually i think its a good job, but you can improve it by mixing the bass so that i wont cover the guitars but to sound along with them...other wise i think its a nice job you did there. kudos
@charleskakareka I don't get your point , IMHO digital processors are GREAT , why? First of all these are cheap , obviously you wont get sound from JCM800 etc. but you can get really similar one. In this case Zoom g2.1u which you can get under 100$ , can produce sound in really good quality (show me amp for 100$ with so much possibilities) and can be connected to PC via USB (quality loss - 0%) .
Digital processors are great for beginners that still don't know what tone they like.
@bruceleerules747 Processor is usually in the middle of guitar and amp , and if you intend to record directly from processor to pc and listen to the output via amp it really doesnt matter what amp you have cause recording goes from the point of processor. But to play somewhere (home , gigs , wherever) you will use amp , and obiously quality of sound will raise with better amp , good choice i keeping your stuff at similar level , (if you get pro amp , but crappy guitar , sound will stay crappy).
When i connect my Zoom G2.1u via USB to the Mac it doesn't detect it in any way, can you explain me how to do it? I don't see it in the sound proprieties so i can't select it on Garageband =/
Man, do you know me? Don't think so, then stop your offences and be more polite. I have this "little software" and I can gain a much better sound than this one, this is why I wrote that comment.
The bass is the result of the youtube converters and being already high in the backing track I think. Most are that way. And yeah it does sound kinda digital but he comes closer than many guyes that bought real mesa boogie amps to get that hetfield crunch...Still quad tracking and less gain would even make it better...
don't be gay, this isn't too loud, i can hear the guitar perfectly
and also i think that most of pedals sucks, this sounds tooo chuggy and distorted, it should be more "real"... i bought the boss metal core because it sounds like a heavy overdrive in a good amp, i'll also use it in a marshall head, i've tried it in some heads and man... that pedal rocks! i love my BOSS METAL CORE, in cheap amps that pedal sucks
@thecreshow no it isnt did u listen to the music behind the guitar theyre in harmony with the guitar if he was playing out of time he wud not be in harmony with them
Cubase is a POS. I have one that came with mine total junk that's why they're free with the pedal. The pedal is so/so pain to program, etc. No offense. Just being honest on my feelings toward the Cubase software.

If you combine the tone of my Peavey Valveking 212, Jackson Rhoads, and this beast of Metallica tone, you've possibly got the closest you can get to a IIC+ without being a Mesa Boogie.
oh for sure...i think you might try some graphic equalizer and kill all the frecuencys blow 50 hz and scoop them till the 125-200 hz, it will take away the over-everything-CHUNK , it sounds good after it... a little tighter distortion on the harmonized solo, and maybe some cabinet simulation (From amplitube maybe)...but very goodwork!. good luck men ;)
uh... I don´t know if there are demos of it... It´s called ezdrummer, and u can find a lot of differents kinds of drums, like vintage drums, heavy metal drums, salsa drums, etc

nice, nice, but you should record two guitar tracks , one track on the left side, and the other in the rigth.
then it will sound very good!!!!
in metal, hard rock... music the guitars are recorded like that!!
but still sounds good, nice job!!!
