thank you, liked this. yes, you guessed it, I'm applying. Visual art stuff. I'll be getting away--far away (from Israel) --and coming back--born in Washington, DC, family in New Hampshire. If I'm accepted. Thanks for your good wishes.ELK
This place exists. And you. I lay on my bed, one of the two pieces of "furniture" that I own (the other is a desk), and I smiled and laughed and became inspired. You see I have moved across my country to the other side to write. To quiet down and write. This series that you created is to me some of the best art I have ever seen. It "spoke" to me. Clear is the day when the mind knows how much of a production it makes of itself in the best way. Thank you.
I had never heard of this residency and yes I followed (although belatedly) your entire journey. I've been checking out the internerdsitewebpage since no# 2 and already dream of traveling overseas for the first time.
Thanks for the MacDowell journey, Mike. I spent 2 weeks at a residency at the Virginia Center for Creative Arts a couple of months ago. I recommend that one, as well, if you are looking for others. I know there are folks who spend there time going from one residency to another - not a bad life, if you can work it, eh? Thanks for your observations and for doing these videos! - A fan
Mike..this has been a hoot....and I actually am trying to go to this great place...it has been recomended by a couple of good buds who have gone!!..actually....I know way to many folks who have gone...so I have to ask myself... is this the kind of club I'd like to belong to?????....yes, yes..yes....and now it seems even more exciting...Daniel (Longfellow: A Life in Words) here from Portland Stage Company.
