@jubox666 While HP shoryuken does more damge the crouching HK will give you an un-techable knockdown (the opponent cannot get up quickly) and leaves Akuma free to make use of his most formidable tool -the vortex.

Daigo is another Shogun player but he uses Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Yun and other characters

Tokido is strictly a zoning akuma player

@Carisma1005 1) its shoto 2) Yun isnt a shoto 3) Akuma isnt pure zoning, he uses lots of vortexs and mix ups as well. And you can punish fire balls and such, gief can green hand through them, pretty much every character has ways around them.

Tokido needs to win, he could of beaten Latif, if he would stop doin sweep after tatsu, he wasnt even doing the vortex and he missed almost all sweeps, if he did a EX Shoryu against latif in one of the rounds he would of won, anyways i understand that he was probably nervous
