i think they put side line referees JUST for mannino. its amazing how many two-bounces he gets away with, and how many two-bounces he complains about when his opponent gets away with it. not only that, but he gets away with a lot of skipped balls, and again, complains when his opponent gets away with it. jason mannino is a faux champion in my opinion, a brooklyn brat, bad sportsman. As long as kane waselenchuk is in the tournament, mannino wont win another grand slam.

Refereeing is a completely thankless job. In a sport like racquetball it is also extremely difficult. Obviously in a competitive ranked game, you can't have players make their own calls from on the court, so you have to have someone from a worse vantage point trying to make split second calls about hinders, skips, faults etc. with the ball moving at 170+ MpH.

The referee made mistakes, but it's a really tough job.

it's too bad the world doesn't agree yet; racquetball is a young sport though maybe in time it will be better endorsed and sponsored. This racquetball match was on the 'tennis channel' - lol. This match was awesome though. Perfect encapsulation of most present racquetball pro matches with some zesty flavor added!

@Fernandez218 I have had Tennis Channel for 5 or so months. It seems to only cover tennis, even when the programming is a joke. I mean they did a show on Brandy - the actress/singer - and her tennis training. Racquetball, squash, table tennis and badminton need to have their own channel - separate from the Tennis Channel.

@mrbobevans lol. i've just been watching tennis online. i was gonna get the tennis channel but i'm cheap. yeah. ideal height in tennis is most likely 6'1. i rarely see players below that height. Roger Federer is that height. if you're too short you can't get a good serve over but you might have better mobility. if you're too tall you can serve well -- yeah -- but you're too lanky and awkward over the court. you can't get the best mobility. Suds is around the same height as Mannino.

@mrbobevans yeah. racquetball. poor racquetball. sad that Brandy's obscure, most likely, inversely proportional skill in tennis --compared to her singing --is preferred over racquetball coverage. i'm glad i didn't get that channel then.  although, i do love tennis too. great sports. my theory. ideal height in racquetball 5'7 and tennis 6'1. you need to be pretty lightweight because -- no matter how much i will never dive -- you can't be a big-ass dude diving all over a racquetball court.
