  • MSU is pretty good...

  • Too "Slushy"- need more of a tighter- dryer proof that the drumline is capable; instead of trying to hide mistakes; be proud of your drum music!- J You have talent; please use it!- J

  • @johnnyjtuber Most groups are going back to the "myalar sound" it sounds ringy and very wet up close, but clears up at a distance. There's something to be said for not playing popcorn drums, just because you can crank a kevlar head to 900 foot pounds of torque, doesn't mean you should. It becomes a matter of perspective in what sound you prefer. however I don't think UNT is trying, or will ever try to "hide mistakes", I have a feeling its an ensamble sound decision.

  • @johnnyjtuber It's the dome. I assure you even as this is the B line of UNT compared with the PASIC competition line, all of these guys can drum and I'm sure that the drums were cranked nicely.

  • Where is the soul????

  • @gump90210 its north texas, not louisiana

  • WOW what a coordination jesus

  • Alamodome? !! lol

  • good non dirty and got dynastys the marching band im in we have them

  • good job phantom... i mean unt

  • Good Drumline. I would love to see this drumline up against Norfolk State University Drumline. This will be very interesting.

  • @franzswa I'm sure NSU has a good line but UNT is the best line in America - unless you include DCI lines.

  • FOCUS!!!!

  • i would love to see BCU which is the best drumline in the MEAC battle these guys. all of you look up BCU drumline from back in 2008

  • nothing beats east coast drums africanmaan..

  • I dunno. UNT stacks up pretty well. TBH, as a New Englander, most drum talk falls back to UMass for me.

  • is this in San Antonio Alamo dome?

  • Parabéns pela apresentação foi excelente Rafael de PE Recife a imagem ficou ruim.

  • Unfortunately, you have made these comments in respect to the UNT Marching Band drumline. You need to view the UNT PASIC COMPETITION DRUMLINE. There is a complete and polar difference between the two. Historically, they are much more fun, much better and have all of the DCI and PASIC demi-gods in that drumline. THAT PASIC LINE IS USUALLY THE BEST IN THE COUNTRY. You can go at least as far back as 1984 (for PASIC DOMINANCE) to get this information. It all started with DR. ROBERT SCHIETROMA.

  • shit theyre AWESOME

  • hell yea... north texas is the percussion capital of the world and if anyone has something to say about that take it up with Bana Estes the Kennedale percussion director

  • haha wow...

  • paul rennick rox

  • cool

  • oh wow is this in the Alamo Dome down in San Antonio!? if so, i was there in the audience for this...

  • wtf is the first bass drumm doing???

  • being awesome lol

  • pretty long for a street beat.

  • long? it's only 2 min. that's not bad

  • watch dci... this is kinda boring...

  • paul rennick runs this line

this pretty much IS DCI lol.

  • he runs the line NOW lol but in 06 he wasnt in charge of it. he just came back to runnin the line in 08. its usually run by grad students.

    just a lil fyi :)

  • bad ass !!!!!

  • is that joe mata tapping right there

  • omg best drumline ever !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i want to go to this school so bad.

  • awesome, whats up with 2nd basses head about 1:40

  • hes grooving. Whats up with bass 1 around 1:00, its like hes doing a visual, but hes the only one doing it.

  • is that in the alamodome?

  • yea i think so lol, i remember them playing

    3A exhibition band i believe

  • TO THE T!!! haha

  • I dont for ask for music but where could i get this? i would pay if i had to.thanks man

  • that was really good

  • nice

  • i wish my university drumline would sound like that and we dont have the size yall do.

  • is that diomedes??? haha hes so little

  • There is an "A" line and a "B" line, however, the "B" line isn't the drummers that weren't good enough for the "A" line. The B is the line that marches with the Green Brigade marching band and the A is the more famous Indoor line taught by none other than Phantom's own Paul Rennick! They're two completely separate lines with two completely separate auditions.

  • the best college drumline.

  • Wrong. RCC. And RCC is a Community College. ;]

  • ur an idiot dragon...rcc in an independent indoor drumline, look on vic firth, they are listed under "independent world"...not "scholastic world"

  • First of all, dont attack my character. I never said anything demeaning to anyone, so that doesnt give you a right to say shit about me. RCC has two different lines. There is a Fall drumline, and a winter drumline. The above video is NOT an indoor drumline. So I have no idea why you said anything about indoor. I would not have said anything about them if it was an indoor video. I was commenting on the Fall lines.

  • oh yeah...there are people on rcc that dont even go to college there...good grief... i agree with u kglasker...they r the best

  • And what is this supposed to mean? You must explain to me why it is such a bad thing that RCC accepts people to be on their Drumline who dont attend the college. Are you saying that because they dont attend College that they aren't good enough to be on the Drumline?

  • wow! wow! drumming brings people together man! not the other way around!................im kinda two years late huh?

  • avpwoman, you from SA or Harlandale?

  • i love the 2nd bass player towards the end his head gets all a boppin lol

  • damn brilliant. been three years since i graduated, and i still regret only having seen the drumline once. hope to see more vids of em on here.

  • ah... to the t... good ol days

  • this drumline sounds sic az hell but ya this is really kool the snare line sounds really good

  • my joey is standing on the 50yd line...not bad for a vato from SA Town....awesome line!!!

  • Nice tribute to Jimmy and Matt (to the T). and clean as the B-line usually is...

  • nice

  • WOW!
