Then I think.....life will only get better and more fair and square for everyone because we do realize (through this vid for example) that there is a big difference in all aspects of life on this earth and because of this realization, we will make things better. Hi John,

Watched this great video again today. Always something new to think about, or another way to look at your paradox examples. I thought the cubed part, was the way the images made one train of thought connect with the next train of thought as triggered by the images. Cool! Oh! Paradox Cubed! Layers of mind stuff. Got it. ( I think) Just reminds me that people are basically good . There is hope for positive evolution :-)

Where does the apathy come from, my friend?

I figure that a lot of us hear our socio-ecological system cracking at the seams. But we are in a period of cultural decadence and are so full of anguish that we often prefer not to listen.

Anyway, I can do nothing about it, we think.

Instead, we can do still many things.

I just hope to "spread the word" through the novel I am finishing to write.

It tells the story of teen-agers protesting because they dont want to inherit the world we are leaving to their, a world in which people and nature are trash to throw away.

The book, at moments comical, is more light than heavy. It is incongruous like we are.

I fear there are not enough teenagers who care yet - it may have to get much more desperate.

I watch my daughter and her friends mindlessly acknowledging the problems, while merrily skipping through their much more important social dramas.
