    So toll

  • Hypnotic

  • How could we still be able to do so? We were face to face with god, the air filled with sparkling wonder and forgotten hunt and fame. There the bow of the last companion fell to the ground and he flew deer and forest, home to the village. Only I was left, in the silver eye of the deer finding myself. How strange was what i looked at, How strange was is became aware of. Hunter i had been and now i had become prey.
  • the shadow of hunger having darkend the minds long ago, only two were left. And one of the two I was. On a clearence, were the shadows of the eveningsun, merged with the strange tracks, finally we stood face to face, with this gorgeos deer and his hoof full of mystery. His glance crossed our own, and through his mighty horns fell the last light of the day. And in silent awe we freezed, we who came to defeat him.
  • Quietly it´s mighty track whispers us from inside the wood, that in the following of the deer there was a mystery, which was even more gorgeos than the deer itself. Some of us fled this mystery, others gave up exhausted and with every hour smaller were the companions number. But the leaves whispered brighter with every companion who left the forest, almost as if the thicket is laughing at us. Soon, as the day neared the dusk,
  • we followed without understanding. The forest was an only shadow in which both questions and answers were to be found. But we only saw the track, at which end we believed the mighty trophy to be powerfull the preys step stayed and wide, wide was it`s hoof. This was the time to be and to become and this hunt shouldn´t resemble any hunt, we dared until this day. And no other animal resembeld this, which crossed the forest as if it wanted to mark it.
  • This Animal was more gorgeos, as any we had hunted down until this day. glory, victory and trophy we wanted to aspire, and were, even befor the sun had risen, armed. Riding on the fogs of the early day we hunters left the village. At that hour we were many, went out to conquer the forest, searching our hunting luck in the twillight of the morning. And between whispering Leafs, from tree to tree we ran, silent the looks on the track of the deer focused. Odd writ in leaf and sand, strange words,
  • So it took me a long time but i hope it´s somehow accurate(whoever finds mistakes may keep them :) ) and thumbs up so everybody can read this(thx): Tentative on the edge of world reaches, the sun to the stars, and peacefully lies in the first light our village and there quietly the morning whispers us a foreboding of the upcoming day a track was found near the huts, which was from a mighty deer and burning turned to the woods Face to face with the track we sensed:
  • Copy and past to google translate to help you get an idea of what he is saying.

  • I adore Cernnunos and wished that I could understand this story.

  • From what I understand, it's a powerful tale. Pardon the bad English, but I ran it thru Google Translate (adjusted slightly for poetic readability so beware the meaning may be a tad off):

    Finally we faced him,

    That magnificent deer.

    His eyes met ours,

    through his magnificent antlers

fell the last light of day.

And in silent awe we froze,

we had come to defeat him.

Yet, could we have done it?

  • @GreenGemini76 (cont.) We stood face to face with God, the air filled with shimmering wonder thoughts about hunting and fame forgotten. The last of my companions fled deer and forest, home to the village. Only I stayed, In the eye of the silver deer I saw myself. How strange was what I saw. How strange that I saw, I had been a hunter and now had become more as prey. *** No offense to anyone who has already done a better translation! This is just my own interpretation. B.B.

  • On the oak, grew a plant whose seeds were formed of the foam tears of the sea. To sustain her, Eiocha ate the seeds, these white berries, and they were transformed within her. Eiocha grew heavy with child and gave birth to the god, Cernunnos. So great was her pain in childbirth that she ripped bark from the one tree and hurled it into the sea. The bark was transformed by the sea and became the giants of the deep.

  • than any that up to this day we hunted. Hunting for glory, victory and a trophy, we strove to were still in the sky before the sun got up in arms. And riding on the early mists of the day We left the village of Hunter. By that time we were still much off to conquer the forest, to seek our happiness in the hunt Zwilicht of the morning. And between whispering leaves, we ran from tree to tree, silence, their eyes fixed on the deer trail.
  • with google translate the text at right: Timid stretches at the edge of the world, the sun to the stars and peacefully in the first light of our village Here the morning and as leis an inkling of the coming day whispers found a trail not far from the huts, The deer was a magnificent and burning the woods writhing. In her face we suspected: This was a magnificent animal,

  • nun gut, mal wirklich was anderes

  • This is absolutely wonderful. <3

  • cernunnos is a celtic god but actually where is he descended from?indian, anatolian, central asian or greek?

  • The Horned God is known throughout several ancient religions. The original god Ammon-Ra (aka Marduk) of ancient Egypt, is one of those horned gods. Marduk, according to Mesopotamian legend was the grandson of the god Enki (aka EA). Enki and his half-sister are said to be the original (literal) genetic creators of the human race on Earth.

  • what language is this?

  • wow das is soooo toll <3

  • Absolut genial. Erinnert mich aufs Extremste an 'Prinzessin Mononoke'.

  • like it. Is this in German? I have no knowledge of any language besides english.

  • Yes, it is german:)

  • Wish it was in English...I understand not a word...But I love searching info about Cernunnos.

  • cernnunos = Lord of beasts. its a poem not a song.

  • jep is celtc better neo celtic german cult music....it`s the story from a man hard hunting a deer and find the natural good / find himselfe find nature..........I`m not hunter I`m not bounty........I AM

  • you're right

  • Und kinde einen, fraulien?

  • first learn german before you backbite these guys!

  • I'm not saying it bad or strange just wasnt sure if it was more of a poem or song or whatever lol.
