kay so i really like this phone, but i do text alot and i find just from using my friends dare's that texting is really hard, and i dont know that it will get easier. i also like having the actual keys to press, but i really like touch screen phones. so is this a phone that will work for me or not?

Yeah it does. There's nowhere to snap it or clip it onto though so I'm always losing it

Just got a used telus lg dare. does anyone know why I don't have the tab on the right?....to bring up quick menu think (also to get rid of icons off the desktop).

I can get the menu by clicking anywhere, but can't seem to remove any icons i've placed on the desk/phone top.

@BlackJackShalack514 i no u posted this a long time ago but incase u never figured it out go to your main menu go to settings go to display setting at very bottom turn shortcut bin to ON and it should be on the right and the ones on the main menu put them at top of phone pull on menu and move them into the menu

hey ive been watching these reviews and ummm is it true that on the telus dare you can't put the phone into standby (without waiting for the screen to turn off on it's own) and on the verizon one you can? also on the verizon i saw someone adjust the music volume inside the music player application but on the telus dare i can;t do that so the music volume is wayyyy too loud through earphones, even at the lowest volume......

This is about the LG Dare =) is the texting really shitty or does it just take time to getting use to? How long can you record videos on it? can you set pictures you take as your background? how many contacts does it hold? is it hard to put a contact into it?

Really? I tried both bitpim & zedge, Didn't work :(

I used bitpim. Its esay. First on the dare go into settings>memory>USB Mass Storage and set it to manual. Then connect it to the computer and start bitpim. I get a message that says other CDMA on port 5 or something like that. Then i went into edit>settings and changed phone type to env2 and it workes.Also goto view and turn on view filesystem.

the bitpim works for verison not the telus Lg Dare. :( I did try it.

The zedge RINGTONES also will not work with Telus but I was able to load some wallpaper pics.

hey dude in ur opinion do u think that the lg dare has good reception just wanna no cuzz the lg chocolate screwed up cuz wen they released it they were unaware of a bug that the touch screen reacs 2 heat and wen u put it to ur face to talk then it screwed up the reception
