  • where can i buy the chocolates?

  • after dipping and decorating the strawberries, do you put them in the fridge right away for it to cool. if so for how long? (:

  • @Swweet23 - you only need to chill them in the fridge for 5min at the most.. It does not take long for them to set.

  • she was so red really it does not thake 7 minutes to make chocolate strawberrys

  • @MrTommygizmo I think it's fair to say she edited the video...

  • Yummy ! Where can I buy the chocolate

  • @debsan23 - you can use regular chocolate chips.. just add 1 tsp of shortening per 1 cup of chocolate chips. or if you dont nessesarily want chocolate you can use the candy melts and those you can get a your local Michaels store or you can buy them on line through Amezon.com

  • where do you get the bottles from?

  • @QueenGMakeupApplyer - you get the bottles from Michaels or sometimes they have them in your local grocery store in the baking isle.. I purchased mine at Michaels.

  • do you put them in the freezer after you dip them in??

  • @allthingskaylee - you can place them in the freezer for a short amoutn of time.. but its better if they are kep in the fridge... the freezer is to cold and then when you take them out they will thaw to fast and start condesation and little beads of water start to form on the strawberries.

  • Awesome!! thank you for your time!!

  • Is it possi ble to melt the chocolate in bottles by placing the bottle in a microwave oven?

  • @mrsabeytia - you can melt them in the microwave.. just be sure to do it in 15 sec incriments... be sure to sqeeze the bottles really good so you make sure all the chocolate is melted.

  • Thank you for this wonderful video! I am hoping to make chocolate covered strawberries as the wedding favors for my wedding. Question though: how far in advance can I make them? I'm kind of afraid of them getting too soft or mushy. Also, how should I store them until the big day? Thank you! :)

  • Very cool! I just uploaded my own video, with a bowl made of chocolate to put the strawberries in. you should check it out

  • Dude what's with the strawberries?! they're massive!! like they're on steroids! xD

  • @WeynWild - I know... :) I actually got them at Costco..

  • @WeynWild haha, steroids! xP

  • That is not chocolate, look at the ingredients list: it does not have cocoa butter.

Fake chocolate is vegetable oil based where real chocolate is cocoa butter based and requires tempering.

Partially hydrogenated vegetable oils are what everyone has been trying to avoid for healthy eating. Real chocolate tastes and costs more than the fake stuff..and calling these chocolate covered strawberries is actually a violation of the FDA regulations on what can be called chocolate and false advertising

  • where could i buy that specific chocolete at?

  • @24happyfeet - You can buy it on line at amazon. or you can pick it up at Michaels or Hobby Lobby.. You can use any kind of chocolate.. you can use the chocolate in the grocery stores..

  • wHERE DID YOU BUY THE CHOCOLETE AT???

  • Is the bottle BPA free?.. Good luck for eating that!..

  • Cute ^_^ I think maybe you could melt the chocolate in the microwave then put them in the bottles after wards. Seems easier in my opinion :3

  • Thank you, I am trying it for my daughters birthday party this saturday. Loved it.

  • omg those watermelons looked good

  • I did not understand...should i just let them cool down in the room (and if so for how long? for the chocolate to stick) or should i put them in the fridge???

    Awsome job by the way!

    Thanks a lot

  • @lalipop2ky - you can leave them out and they will harden, it just takes longer... I usually put them in the freezer or refrigerator for about 1 to 2 minutes and the chocolate will be hard..

  • Ooh Boy Ooh Boy!!!! Cant wait to try this Thx!!!!

  • Thanks for this. A little different approach using the squeeze bottle for drizzling. I like that.

  • Looks great thanks

  • @theofficialcarla

yes you can melt the chocolate in the Microwave.. I would melt them for 1 min, then stir then chocolate and then do 30 min interals till the chocolate id melted smooth.. you can use bakers chocolate that you get at the grocery store or the candy melts that you can get at michaels.

  • @SmartParties THANKS CANT WAIT TO MAKE THEM :) THEY LOOK SO GOOD

  • can i like mix the white and chocolate together

  • @theofficialcarla - you can mix the chocolates together.. it will just be a lighter chocolate flavor.

  • hi i make strawberry but is hard

  • can i use any tipe of chocolate like hersheys kissies ..

    or chocolate chips ... ?

    please answer ...

    thanx...

    love video..

  • Yes... I would add a little shortening to the chocolate chip mixture. It will make your chocolate smooth... I would use about 1 table spoon per 2 cups of chocolate chips.

  • Your videos are great! Thanks for sharing all of your talent!

  • when doing this for a party is it better to prepare the strawberries before they are going to be eatn or long b4? if long b4 is it okay to keep the strawberries in the fridge for more than 30minutes? an hour?

  • You can store them in the fridge. You can prepare them 1 to 2 day in advance and store them in the fridge. After 3 to 5 days the strawberries get really juicy.

  • gREAT video...are there different colors of chocolate? like blue or green that stoll taste like chocolate but just doff color?

  • Yes. There is diffrent colors you can use. Also you can make your own color by using food coloring mixed in with white chocolate. It will still taste like white chocolate.

  • HI I was wondering how long you do you refregirate after dipping & decorating?

  • You only need to refregirate like 5 min. It does not take long to harden.

  • great tutorial!

  • Thank you. It's always great to here feedback.
