  • My daughter wasn't amused for some reason. Oh well. I haven't seen one of these for a long time. I'm still as impressed as when I first saw one. Modern technology can't hold a candle to this IMHO.. Thanks.

  • I know this piano can be played like any other piano but what about the stuff inside?

  • its a small world after all... ^o^ LOL XD

  • what does it take to build one

  • why does the piano sound different at 0:52 so on, than it did in the beginning?

  • Your hearing the Mandolin attachment . Gives the piano the "Rinky-Tink" sound somewhat like a Harpsichord.

  • @RobertsRestorations thank you. it sounds lovely.

  • @RobertsRestorations the Mandolin attachment is the best thing sinse piano

  • Wow! It has to be a horror servicing it...

  • This thing is frickin amazing!!!!!

  • I love these pianos!!!! i could watch it play all day!!!

    Thank you for posting!

  • These are amazing! I love the sound of these old Nickelodeons. Whats is the name of the song?

    Thanks

  • The song is "It's A Small World" from the Disneyland/world ride of the same name :-).

  • Blast of nostalgia. In 1977, I was just a kid in a new Queens neighborhood, and we visited a very stylish diner in Forest Hills

with one of these in front. I was a Seeburg jukebox enthusiast at the time, but found this an elegant touch. The whole place disappeared within a few years.

  • Lovely! It has a very Spike Jones feel to it! Thanks for posting this, it truly is amazing!

  • WOW! Thats amazing! How does it work exactly; does it use electric, or is it pumped somehow? Goodjob on the restoration.

  • It has an electric motor to power an air pump. The action which makes the parts move pneumatic however.

  • I want one...

  • I second that .

  • I third that!

  • one of my fav song!

  • "It's a small world after all" Disney World has these ......they are marvelous..

  • I have also heard this tune on youtube on an allen stafford piano.

  • I think the Stafford piano was tubed wrong. The insruments are not working together right. Thanks for watching. Robert

  • You know, I think you're right, this version sounds much better. The instruments in the Stafford seem to be a little off. I guess it must because it has been playing constantly for years.

  • The amount it has been played shouldn't have anything to do with it. All the rolls where cut the same way. Someone must have tried rebuilding it and tubed the instruments the wrong way. The accordion is playing on the wrong scale and the wood block and bass drums are also not playing when they should. Maybe I should send that guy a tubing diagram. Ha HA. Thanks for your comments. I think that's all the videos I'm putting on here till my next Nickelodeon is finished. Talk to you soon, Robert
