They're collaborating with someone, I think. I don't remember who it was, now. They also said they have enough material for like..three more albums left over from the initial Plastic Beach recordings (Like the song on Russel's Ident that is in such huge demand).

Not to mention the movie they're trying to get made. :D

The media is blowing this way out of proportion. They never said they were going to quit. In the interview they commented that after the tour it would be a good time to quit Gorillaz but they never said they were actually going to do it. They've got too much going on with Gorillaz right now to just throw it in the closet.
