Yes, and if evidence contradicts a known theory, science tries to find why this is so the theory can be updated. A good example would be the motion Mars has in the night sky. It took thousands of years to work out why the orbit of Mars seemed to turn back on itself. The problem was the heliocentric model. Earth is not the centre of the universe. From a completely logical standpoint, it is impossible for the god of the bible to exist. I'm open to the notion of a creator of life on our planet but it would have been from something which is still bound by the limitations of science, not magic.

Science doesn't take a hypothesis then find evidence to reinforce it - throwing away contradictory observations. It takes an observation and then tries to understand it through analytical techniques. Therefore, a bad theory is rooted out and discarded. A good hypothesis stands up to testing and becomes the standard, until something better comes along. It is self reinforcing.
Give me a good reason why yahweh is in any way logical.

I won't go into my credentials where science is concerned, but suffice it to say that my understanding of science is in no way limited.
I agree with you that science takes an observation and tries to understand it, but science also tries to explain it by forming hypotheses that explain the observation as well as predict other things that can be observed. In that way, we're searching for evidence that contradicts too.
Belief in God comes through personal encounter; I don't say it's science :-)

Yes, and if evidence contradicts a known theory, science tries to find why this is so the theory can be updated. A good example would be the motion Mars has in the night sky. It took thousands of years to work out why the orbit of Mars seemed to turn back on itself. The problem was the heliocentric model. Earth is not the centre of the universe. As soon as we realised the sun was the centre of the solar system, we were able to reconcile the observation, thus, updating the standard model.

Her position is based upon an ignorance of something she knows nothing about and is therefore fearful of it. Many religious people show this trait. They fear that which they do not understand.

Fascist governments forbid and suppress openness and opposition to the government and its people. Fascism opposes class conflict, blames capitalist liberal democracies for its creation and communists for exploiting the concept.

America is a land of opposites. Huge swathes of the country could be considered almost third world whereas other places - Seattle for example - are highly developed and forward thinking. As an average, the country can't all be bad. It elected a black president, afterall.
