@mommama100 Hey, I think you are attacking the wrong person man. "Mojogypsy" was just commenting that the video is, to quote, " Very nice!" You should be insulting "Hellokitteh" for his rude and hateful comments about good music. Just trying to be fair

She can sing but she has no idea in hell what she's singing. One of Prine's best lines is jerked into trite cliche blues, missing the poetry. Line: Naked as the eyes of a clown. Sing it straight so it hits you. All and all, lousy folk music.
@eccles2222 What the hell are you talking about .Your saying Norah does not put feeling in her performance
I just dont know where your coming from. Its like saying an actor cannot produce a convincing performance unless they have experienced it. I think one of norahs ability is to be able to put deep feeling in what she sings
she does not have to have gone through it herself. Its called entertainment. And she is great.
She looks good, sings ok, and emotes without purpose, save manner. If you're a fan you'll overlook this and defend her, as you have. If you don't know her from Adam and can be objective, her "reading" is purile.
larrypetree - Are you deaf or just completely ignorant? Norah Jones is one the of finest singers to ever sing a song. And the guitar style of the "dude in the hat" is perfectly fitting for a John Prime composition.

@okusachink you have to be joking. norah jones is the farthest thing from a c#nt, and john prine loves her and her covers so you should practice holding your tongue when saying something that is so absurd
@dmanstarr What this is, is sung for fun and from the heart, friends singing with friends, its a jam. Whats more its got more soul then whatever gawdawful music you must listen to. Since you do not know this i got 2 words for you.

Your first response had some meaning. This last one, and it IS the last for me, misquotes my statements, is churlish and infantile, and pointless.
Your words suggest anger that your critical knowledge is threatened by being unable to converse with someone who shows no malice in return.
So, momentarily (and with finality), I'll say something at your level.
You have no wit and are afraid of failing in issues that don't matter.
Now, musical teabagger, go away and develop a critical sense.

To: Matty6983. The male singer didn't really screw up the lyrics...
saying "guy" for "fella " ain't really a screw-up.
John Prine is the best and Norah does a great cover.

The guitarist is Kevin Breit from Canada. Great musician. Check out his amazing albums with Cyro Baptista with the group Supergenerous.

Not sure John would second that. Norah & friends, in fact, do him proud here. IMHO.
