lol... smoke inhalation isn't the concern on a wildland fire... the fire is. I noticed you seem to really be concerned about smoke inhalation... worry about the flames and embers.
im in the path of fires every year. from what i saw they werent to close to it. and it looked like that had brake between them and the fire. ive been fiight wild fires with cal fire for 8 years now.
Reagan fricked up California when he opened the doors to the Illegals. Nothing wrong with applying to immigrate but no, every criminals south of the border is invited up there and now CA is a failed state.
I would go back to Mexico while you can you bunch of Locos, the statee is going under water to mark the age of Aquarius millenium that just officially began 14/02/09. You watch all the drowned bodies will drain through Funeral valley and get deposited in Death Valley, Hence the names fortold
I saw an old Hitchcock movie from the 30s and guess what the calamity was in California back then. Brushfires! Me thinks brush fires have always happened in CA. It also doesn't help when Freemason Illuminati cops or firefighters are instructed to be arsons by the secret societies. Order out of chaos, they are seen lighting the fires all the time, just like paid provocatures. They should get the gallows the murderers, but the judges are fellow lodge travellers.
That's something that I never understood; why people move into such places. It's the same for florida, everyone knows it gets bombarded with tropical storms each and every year.....yet they loose their house and start all over again next year. Stupid really.
Because hardly anyone loses a home in california to fire. California fires are totally overrated and its really ignorant when all these people from out of california act like everyones house is in danger. Its like you guys have no concept of reality.
However I cannot understand people who live on the coasts where hurricanes are because that effects millions of people in some way.
Question for everyone: Toward the end of this video; I see fire fighters setting fires. Is that what they called a controlled burnout?? If so; What would be the purpose?? Thank You for Answering My Question
Yes. That's called controlled burnout when the firefighters set fires to brush. They also call it "back burning". The purpose is to get ahead of the fire and burn out any potential fuel that the fire can continue to grow with. It's essentially starving out the fire.
Glad everyone's homes are safe. I know that when these fires break out though, George, that they ask people to stay away and not come in and go looky-looing and causing possible traffic problems for the fire crews to deal with.
Yeah, it's gotten to the point when it gets hot and dry and the santa ana winds start blowing (hot, dry winds from the desert) you can be pretty sure that some idiot will try to set these things off. Insane.
however.. that was a minor light grass/ sparce brush fire. not a lot of risk compared to heavy brush or timber.. next time such folks should be out on the fire line with a shovel..fire breaks in light grass are easy to make
No surprise there much of the southern and western us is a tinderbox. Ware I live a few weeks ago all one had to do was drop a cigarette in the wrong place then part of the town and country side would burn till it hit the interstate.
In all honesty its probably a good thing. California needs to get its economic ducks in a row and if they continue to spend on illegal aliens and their anchor babies there is no hope for them. Maybe if they have more fires they will wake up to what the government NEEDS to use its resources for and what is optional or wasteful.
Well, I don't think they'll stop spending money on illegals. They're too Politically correct.Paradise has turned into illegals and gangs.Wouldn't take my family there if it were free.
I want to see more close up action on the hellicopters, and planes if you can get your tripod, or monopod with swivel head. Hey and you never know, if the air equiptment fails you could be a witness and make some cash on the tape, no I do not hope for injury or death, but what I'm saying is you just never know what could happen where. I have seen a police car in a hole and a firetruck get stuck in deep water, maybe you can catch something like that?
yea well from where im at,we got some stimulus money so the city can tear down vacant houses, they are doing everything to destroy california, stay safe!!
Cali is normally a dry, barren wasteland. You'd think they would just pave over a generous area around these little settlements so the fire can't spread.
Of course they can't do that though. It would make way too much sense for ordinary people. And the house builders wouldn't be able to constantly rebuild and make more money.
GOERGE!!!!! Please Please look in to the UNCRC!!! Nobody's reporting on it!!! They can use it to eliminate US sovereignty/ Constitution, AND to disarm the citizens!!! Obama wants to do it!!!!
Just think when the government's money is no good anymore and the system crashes, these fires will burn with no one fighting them. Entire subdivisions and towns will go up in smoke. Volunteer fire depts. will make a rapid comeback with no paid firemen. Just anouther happy glimpse at the future, thanks FED.
So sad to see people losing their homes down in Cali. I have relatives living there and my families roots go back over 3 generations there. When a place gets in your blood it's damn hard to leave it. Even if you should. Good reporting George. I always give respect for what you do.
