This show feels like it is boring. But it's not. It is drawing, and it is charming. Be it the relatively good music, the teenage love story...or maybe just Chiba's curse-filled antics, something about this show keeps you coming back for more. And when it ends, you are sad - because as Koyuki says "You feel like you've left those people behind." Great anime. Funimation hits its mark again!

FUCKING BEAUTIFUL!! EVERY episode was BETTER than the last. Great music, INSANE amount of charcter development, and I cared for EVERYBODY in the anime except for Leon and his bitch. As a black man, I gotta say FUCK THAT NIGGA!!.

Dare I say, this was the PERFECT anime. To say I'm sad cuz it's over is a understatement. It's like having to say bye to one of your BEST freiends for the last time. Hope they make a follow-up. See where they're at afterwards. Thanks for the ride. Hope there's more.

Wow, what a ride! I watched the entire series as a marathon; I was hooked after two episodes! I turned 50 this year (OUCH!), but this made me remember my junior-high band, NOVA SCOTIA . I about had a cow over Koyuki and Maho until that last kiss in the Slip Out epsisode. But the clincher for me concerning the fate of their relationship was when he and she go over the photos of the American tour: they had a deep but simple closeness liike they share the same soul - soulmates, forever.

This show....wow. It blew my mind 8 ways form sunday. I don't think that any show reached me at such an emotional level. It has one of the best stories and best cast of charecters out there. Combine that a great dub, the mark of quality that only an animation studio like Madhouse can provide, and of course fantastic music, and you have a modern classic. I always thought that Cowboy Bebop was my favourite anime, but now I might just have to reconsider.

I agree 100% with dylanbur. This show is incredible. They really need to make another season of this show. There's still plenty of story left in the manga for one or two more seasons. With a story that focuses heavily on music, reading the manga just doesn't cut it.

When they repeated those lines from the first episode, I quickly felt torn apart because I'll never get to experience this greatness a second time. This'll have a place in my heart nothing else will be able to fill. Always.
