    Replay Button: ".......noooooooooooooo"

  • My Daddy sang army cadences when I was younger and he taught me this one. A few days ago I was in the kitchen with the windows open lookin' through the fridge. I randomly started to sing this song and was startled when my Dad answered me from the front yard where he could hear me. Army Brat, hoorah!

Must be politically correct to say "stuff"

  • @89AcB trust me, its only "stuff" when there's cameras or civilians around...

  • @Dragunov8808 I've had to sing it before, so I know. I was just being a smartass since when we sang it we were able to use the un-PC version. ;)

  • Got out of Jackson more than a month ago and can't get these damn cadances out of my head!

  • It was all good to the chorus, army screwed it up bad, as the they do with all cadences. Army can't march worth shit ROFL

  • @ksb2050 Really? The army can march, they're trained soldiers who protect America, show some respect and stop rolling on the floor. :(

  • @KayHiggs13 Yeah but that doesn't mean they march well. Apparently you've never seen them march. Also you should keep in mind the rest of us in the other services protect America too, don't give all the credit to the army thanks.

  • @ksb2050 Your welcome and of course I don't give all credit to the Army, my family is Air Force, all of them, so don't think I'm bias towards any service, all I care about is them coming home safe, and not being ridiculed. (And by the way, I have seen them march, don't make a stereotype based off of one video)

  • @KayHiggs13 I'm not stereotyping off of one video, I was stationed on an Army Base, and my closest friend is in the Army. It's not so much of a stereotype when you have first hand knowledge. Now I'm not going to carry this conversation on anymore, we're just dragging it ever farther lol.

  • @ksb2050 You're right, far too long. Well cheers for the conversatoin, I hope I didn't sound like too much of a jerk. It truly wasn't my intent. :) Have a wonderful day, ksb2050, oh, and thanks for your service.

  • f-u-c-k a-g-a-i-n fucked again fucked again!

  • We did this cadence on graduation day in front of a bunch of white phase soldiers, was funny as hell "4 more hours and we'll be through" the look on their faces were priceless

  • Is there a vid with lyrics?

  • @patrickbogild you wouldn't want these lyrics, this is the politically correct new army cadence.

  • is this at jackson?

  • The Standard Is The Same for All Our Brothers And Sisters, Difference Only Being The Operational Need For Whom! Marines Own The Beach Head, The Navy Owns The Seas. The Army Owns The Ground, Air Force Owns the Skies. Coast Guard Owns Americas Coast. All Working Together To Provide Each Other Coverage From Every Possible Angle Of Attack.

  • @kurtw27 amen brother

  • Comment removed

  • We do this at my camp, I love this cadence

  • @TheEragonsaga Same :D

  • fucking terrorists.

  • all i can say is that each branch has their reputation for a reason but at the end of the day we are all fighting under the same flag and thats the most important thing to remember.

  • @ajsmith7687 Yea Ill remeber that when your asses are crying for the 12B's to save your ass, build your defenses, clear your routes and breach for you. God may love the Marines and kiss the Infantry but its the Engineers that get shit done.

  • @m3kt3k hell yeah!!! i ship to basic in 4 months as 12B!

  • we all join to fight for this country i completely agree without one branch the others fucked have u ever heard of close air suport yeah thts wht ground forces call in when they need it hate pricks tht think one is better then another each has a spesific role and needs to be done so fuck everyone who says other wise

  • flashbacks of ft. jackson, south carolina

  • @tink430

yeah, cuz basic training was probably the scariest part of your army career. pog

  • Few more weeks n' we'll be through. I'll be glad and so will you. I won't have to look at you. Ugly, dirty, smelly, you. You won't have to look at me. Sexy, sexy, sexy, me!

  • @ironlam97 you can't say shit about how one branch is better than another when you probably have never even been in any branch yourself. Odds are your some stupid idiot that judges war/military off of call of duty..

  • hooah my dad is retired he has been in the army for 15 years thank u army for a great service

  • listen to you people come on we are brothers in arms for a reason army and marines hell everyone is family no branch is better than the other because at the end of the day we are all on the same team fighting the same mission...Defending America's Freedom. so stop the petty nonsense of who is better and who is more hardcore. think about it...if you die in battle dose that make you more hardcore than the person that was next to you doing everything he or she could to try to save your life?

  • Comment removed

  • @nickm16a2 hey im just sayin, we all need to get along lol. once the bullets start flying it wont matter who you are, whether you a marine, soldier or airmen, your in the fight together.

  • @ironlam97 shut the fuck up, were all here for the same reason, to kick ass. and army does it just as well as marines do.

  • I remember singing a version of this song while in Navy Boot Camp many years ago. Brings back quite a few memories! While some of this inter-service rivalry stuff is fun at times, I'd like to remind you that you are all heroes in my book! Thank you for your service and remember that THERE CAN BE NO SUBSTITUTE FOR VICTORY!!!!

  • Men and women on every branch of the millitary have died for our country, ourselves, and our freedom, maybe you should be fighting for your country, not fighting over who in our country is stronger

  • this was my fave cuz it let me know how long i had to be in basic! Now i miss it! :)

  • This was the shit in basic.

  • @greendcs666 oh yea brings back some memories

  • wow stop arguing...im national guard...and by the looks of it were all gonna be in north jorea here real soon...so stop arguing and lets start being a military hooah?

  • @vlogwithavngence kick some red ass HOOAH!

  • @vlogwithavngence i agree those dumb ass north koreans korean war number 2 -.- and no kidding why argue about marines army airforce navy being better then the other what it comes down to is you will all be fighting side by side in any battle... i will be joining the US military in a year or 2 still undecided what branch.

  • @whipownsu good luck man whatever brach you choose will be the right choice

  • i like this one ima try this one on my platoon tomarrow

  • @ironlam97 marine is (M)y (A)ss (R)ides (I)n (N)avy (E)quipment

Aside from that the main thing is there all there kicking ass equally, theres no need to argue over this bullshit.

  • Its been 9 years, and I still remember this like it was yesterday.

  • Basic training now consists of the "newer Kinder army' When I started basic in June of 08 they were not very strict on the whole training schedule like intervals and what way your weapon was facing in a tactical road march. Unless you were flagging someone then you got yelled at. Now days they just wanna hurry up and get the shit over with, because you get more training with your unit. They just teach you the basics this stuff. and ironlam97, my cousins a E6 marine and I kick his ass, im E4 army

  • @Bretzman88 Well i hope your wrong. I leave for Benning (Im 11X) in June. I dont want the kinder BCT, I want the hardest!

  • @ironlam97 i was in active duty in the army and do you know how many marines asses i had to pull out of the shit

  • @bunny3636 im going to say 0

  • @bunny3636 true story i spent 3 years in the army on active duty and the marines where the one always getting into shit

  • @bunny3636 same here

  • @bunny3636 ....Semper Fi forever, I have many respect for the US Army but most of it goes to the USMC.

  • @bunny3636 0?

  • @bunny3636 none?

  • @bunny3636 thats why its a friendly rivalry

  • @bunny3636 LMFAO HOOOAH

  • if everyone's weapons are pointing to the left then who is pulling security on the right side of the column? and why are they all so close? thought road marches were supposed to be tactical in basic training.

  • @pitcher97mph most people are right handed shooters. That's why they're pointing left. Left handed shooters point to the right. Situation dictates the distance between on marches.

  • I remember this cadence didn't start getting fun 'til the last week of OSUT ;)

  • summer 2009..went through this shit..

  • FOX 254 05'

  • brings back old memories!!!

  • Haha this is kool ! wen we march in jrotc we sing this.

  • we song this one everyday when i was at benning

  • Comment removed

  • @Dralean it's because that little over 85% of people in the world are right handed shooters. though pointing your weapon in the general direction of someone is breaking that golden rule of never pointing your weapon at someone, this is an exception so everyone can remain combat ready instead of having to switch over from their left side to their right.

  • @Dralean maybe thats because there right handed? We are always told to keep your muzzle toward the ground if we are right handed.

  • @Dralean They're not really pointed at the left column. They are the low ready position which means their fingers are off the trigger and barrel is facing the dirt.

  • @Dralean If it was British army there'd be nothing you could do, with the SA80 A2 its strictly a right hand weapon because of the uuum blowback thingamajig? dont quite know what its called exactly but its the bolt you pull back to cock the weapon.

  • @JKno1 - Yep the bolt is the problem, along with the ejection port. Bolt will hit you in the chin or cheek, and you'd get hot brass ejecting into your cheek and/or face. It's the same for the French FAMAS or Steyr AUG, even the Russians are now making a "Bullpup" variant of the AK-74.

  • @yuriilev

Yeah, those ejection ports can be a real nuisance, a soldier in my last platoon was fixing a jam (the mag was loaded with 5 exercise duds), the Lt. was standing just a meter away, he got his lip pierced by the dud as it flew out of the mechanism.

Not to menion the way those hot empty tombac thingies seems to hit everyone to your right when in a close line formation ^^

  • @Dralean LOL.

  • @Dralean

    @eme1ec

first of, this is obviously a training period long march (look at the distance between the soldiers and the amount of soldiers moving as one group without backpacks and last but not least the lone guy in the front who's probably an instructor).

second, the rifles do have safety switches...

  • @Dralean They're actually carrying their weapons at the low ready pointed towards the ground. unless you see some kind of burrowing soldiers in that picture, then i think "you're wrong"

  • @Dralean Why yes, how sloppy. Of course, they should be at the high port, present or shoulder - it's the new SOP when moving tactically, don't ch'know.

  • @Dralean

That's how My troop as well as every other troop/company that i saw at Knox march by always having their weapons facing down and to the left

  • @Dralean i know right, flag your buddy much? NUZZLE AWARENESS!!!!!!

  • @NerdsAssembleHere Nuzzle?! What the fuck is that? I know sure as HELL that isn't a part of any rifle I've seen!

  • @JFisherUSMC whoops i meant MUZZLE!!! :(

  • @NerdsAssembleHere "nuzzle" awareness! LMAO...GET YOUR HAND OF MY LEG!

  • @Dralean its called the low ready dumbass lol

  • @Dralean you are a moron... they are going to have their guns pointed in whatever direction they can fire best from... why would they have it pointed to the right if that makes it harder for them to fire?

  • @Dralean have you ever been in a tac march? you are fucking retarded

  • @Dralean haha in basic even comabt Arms MOS's they no longer give a shit where its pointed becasue they will never do a side by side tac march anyways... but its still bad manners ha

  • @Dralean 1 .. its not at a range so it doesnt matter, 2 They are holding their weapons correctly in the low-ready position , 3. They have BFAs on the muzzle of their weapons

  • @Dralean

that's called the low ready. if you're right handed, your firing hand (right) stays on the trigger guard at all times.

  • @Dralean because of new regulations, they took away our pride in cursing in cadences. We can't even say "if you aint cav, you aint shit" in public anymore.

  • @Dralean For your information years ago it was learned that the weapon carried in the right hand (most people are right handed) can respond to ambush quicker if the weapon is in the strongest fireing hand. basically you can respond more accurtly and pecisely and hit your target much higher chance.

  • @Dralean Its unison.

  • same old shit again... i wont have to look at you

  • I remember this cadence like it was yesterday , though it has been 20 years since I went through basic lol

  • Some cadences have been changed by the CAP and JROTC to suit the minds of parents and children. And possibly, the person leading this cadence just doesn't use poor language.

  • It's been 15 years, but I remember this like it was yesterday. In retrospect, those were great times.

  • i went to iraq as a nasty girl trucker but i was once a hooah hooah active duty D.I.C.K. and i loved just about very minute of it

  • Yeah, it's always been "same old shit again..." but the democrats (and women) have taken over our military now, and we can't even say "shit" anymore. Now we have to say "same old stuff again" (political correctness - the democrats don't want us swearing as we train to kill or fight in a war). We now have to say "please" and "thank-you" to the terrorists as we ask for our freedom (so we don't offend or hurt anyone's feelings).
